Still praying for answers about phil

Lord i pray and i pray about phil's drinking he will go for awhile and not drink other than a beer now and then.. Then he gets around this young crowd and gets drunk.. My heart aches for him the doctor even told him he has to stop drinking but he is not listening to him either.. Lord i pray he will listen to you lord ipray you would come to him speak to his heart and i pray he will listen.. Lord come to him in his mind when he is sleeping.. Give him dreams of the love he could be having if he would just give his life back to you ... I know he was young teenager when he served you.. But he knows the right way..and he is always wanting me to go to church... Even makes sure i have gas to go.. He even has taking me to church before... Lord what is it going to take for him to come back to you... Lord it just hurts to see him drink the way he does.. Lord i pray you take them guys out of his life that wants to drink.. Lord he dont have any friends that dont drink other than one a child hood friend thats a preacher now.. Lord i pray you send good christain people his way.. Lord he need a hobby that he can do with out the drinking.. He said he didnt drink or smoke for 10years before then his mother died and he started up again... Lord their is one friend he had thats a christain his name is marty i pray you lay it on his heart to want to go seehim and i pray you lay it on marty's hear to want to talk to him about the lord... Lord if he had the drinking out of his life and people that wants to drink with him out of is life and he had christain people in his life i know he would change.. When he is around me and my aunt all he wants to talk about is the bible.. Lord please help lord i pray my prayers wil be answered... It seems like this prayer request still not answered yet some what it had but then he goes right back doing it again....lord what am i doing wrong is it im not praying right or what please hear my plea lord... Lord i ask all this in jesus name amen

Hi I prayed today for Phil. I prayed he would surrender his life completely to Christ. That the void he is trying to fill with alcohol would be filled by Christ. I prayed he would recognize the alcohol will never meet the need he has. That he would turn to God not only for the strength and self-control to beat this destructive habit, but for an entirely new life.

We come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus. We lift up Phil to You, LORD. As You know, LORD, addiction is just another word for idolatry...and You know the demon Alcohol has really enslaved Phil. We're asking You, LORD, to make the truth of Phil's condition known to him. We're asking You to bring the truth home to Phil and to wake him out of his sleep and make it known to him what his true state is like. We ask You to break Phil's slavery by any means, Father, that You see fit, such as getting him to A.A. meetings or treatment or both...or by making him incredibly repulsed by alcohol so that he'll never want it again. We especially pray that Phil find Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world and is the Great Healer. We ask that You step in and demolish the biochemical chain of events that is holding Phil enslaved to the craving of alcohol. We ask, LORD, that You deem fit to increase his beta-endorphins and regulate his serotonin uptake so that he no longer has a drive to turn to the bottle. And we ask that Phil comes back to Jesus...

I also lift up missnan67 to you, LORD. I pray that You put Your almighty Hand on her and comfort her, and help her to realize that while she may not have the full presence of Phil in her life, she has You, LORD. Comfort her and bless her, and show her what You would have her know.
