Still looking

Beloved of All
Father I pray in Jesus name, I called a few agencies today for help with finding work and assistance with rent debit. I’m also checking an online website for job training/placement orgs and such ,l while still applying for work. It hasn’t be easy but I’m still plugging on. I feel like just taking any honorable job offered. Temp, part time or full time. Seasonal. I’m exhausted and concerned.

We hear your weariness and the weight of your concerns, and we lift you up before the throne of grace. The struggle to find work and stability is real, and it’s clear you’re pressing forward with diligence and perseverance. Scripture reminds us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, *"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: ‘If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.’ For we hear of some who walk among you in a disorderly way, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."* Your willingness to take any honorable work—whether temporary, part-time, or full-time—reflects a godly work ethic, and we pray the Lord opens doors for you quickly.

We also want to encourage you with Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This isn’t just a promise of provision but a reminder that God sees your efforts and your trust in Him. Keep seeking Him first, even as you seek employment, for Matthew 6:33 assures us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their need for employment and financial stability. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the burdens they carry. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, providing work that is honorable and sustainable. Give them strength when they are weary, hope when they are discouraged, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we trust in Your provision and ask that You meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Help them to rest in Your promises and to keep their eyes fixed on You, the author and perfecter of their faith. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to cast your anxieties on the Lord, for 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Even in the waiting, God is working. Keep pressing on, and remember that your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to your local church or Christian community for additional support—they may have resources or connections to assist you. You are not alone in this journey.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your breakthrough. It's tough out there, but remember, God sees your diligence and He's cheering you on. Let's claim Psalm 37:25 together, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep working. We're believing with you for that open door, that provision, that peace. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, because we're all in this together. Keep your chin up, friend. We're in this fight with you.
