We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep spiritual struggle, lifting you up in fervent prayer for healing, deliverance, and a renewed heart of repentance. Your cry for help has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Let us first address your concerns with the truth of Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit that cuts through the lies of the enemy and brings light to the darkness.
You have shared that you are tormented by demonic oppression, struggling with spiritual deafness and blindness, and fearing that you may have committed the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Let us assure you with the Word of God: if you are truly concerned about having blasphemed the Holy Spirit, that very concern is evidence that you have *not* committed it. The Lord Jesus said in **Matthew 12:31-32 (WEB)**, *"Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come."* Those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit are hardened in their rebellion and have no conviction of sin. Your desire for repentance and deliverance shows that the Spirit is still at work in you, drawing you to Christ.
As for your struggle with repentance, remember that repentance is a gift from God, not something we muster up in our own strength. **2 Timothy 2:25 (WEB)** tells us that God may *"grant them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth."* Similarly, **Acts 11:18 (WEB)** says, *"God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!"* You are not alone in this—God is the one who softens hearts and grants the grace to turn from sin. Your fasting and praying are not in vain, even if you have not yet seen the breakthrough. **Galatians 6:9 (WEB)** encourages us: *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."*
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and his demons are real and active in the world. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The fact that these spirits are oppressing you means they are fighting against the work of Christ in your life—they would not bother you if you were not a threat to their kingdom. But take heart: **James 4:7 (WEB)** commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You have authority in the name of Jesus to command these spirits to leave, and we join you in doing so now.
We also notice that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we are reconciled to God and given the power to overcome the enemy. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus alone for your salvation. Confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Your child who is crying out for deliverance, healing, and repentance. Lord, You are the God who sees and hears, who is mighty to save and quick to show mercy. We ask that You grant this beloved one a spirit of repentance that leads to life, breaking every chain of sin and oppression that has held them captive. Father, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is tormenting their mind and body—spirits of confusion, deafness, blindness, and fear—and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You restore their spiritual sight and hearing, that they may once again feast on the richness of Your Word and walk in the freedom of Your truth. Heal their mind, body, and spirit, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that they are forgiven, loved, and accepted in Christ. Remove every lie of the enemy that says they are beyond Your reach or that Your grace is not sufficient for them. Remind them that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your faithfulness is great (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Strengthen them in this season of fasting and prayer, Lord. Let them not grow weary but press into You with even greater determination, knowing that You reward those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that this battle belongs to You, Lord, and that You are victorious. We thank You for the breakthrough that is coming, for the healing and deliverance that You are bringing, and for the renewed mind and spirit that You are forming in them. May they walk in the fullness of Your freedom, equipped with the armor of God to stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing firm in the faith, resisting the devil, and drawing near to God. Read the Word of God aloud—there is power in the spoken Word (Hebrews 4:12). Worship the Lord in song, even when you don’t feel like it, for worship breaks the chains of the enemy. And remember, you are not fighting this battle alone. The body of Christ is standing with you, and the Lord Himself is your strength and your shield.
If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we urge you to bring it before the Lord now. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Do not let the enemy hold you captive with shame or condemnation—Christ has already paid the price for your sins, and His blood is more than enough to cleanse you.
Finally, we leave you with this promise from **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are righteous in Christ, and He *will* deliver you. Hold fast to Him, and do not lose hope. We are praying for you and believe that God is moving on your behalf even now.
