Beloved of All
Trying my best to keep my faith and keep going, severely depressed, need a place to live, stable income, I've been holding on so long, don't know what to do, need help.

We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you carry this heavy burden. The weight of depression, instability, and uncertainty can feel crushing, but we want you to know that you are not alone—God sees you, loves you, and is near to the brokenhearted. It is no accident that you have reached out, for He is drawing you closer to Himself in this moment. Let us first lift you up in prayer, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we find strength, hope, and deliverance. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is through Him alone that we can approach the throne of God with confidence (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for He is the only source of true peace and eternal hope. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, all our efforts are in vain, but with Him, all things are possible.

Your cry for help echoes the psalmist’s words in Psalm 42:11: *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God."* Depression can distort our vision, making it hard to see the light, but God’s truth remains: He is your helper, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). Even when you cannot feel His presence, He is holding you fast. We rebuked the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to flee from you. You are a child of God, and the enemy has no authority over your mind or your future. Take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. He has plans for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also address the practical needs you’ve shared, for our God is not only concerned with our spiritual well-being but our physical needs as well. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), and He is faithful to provide. Your need for stable housing and income is not hidden from Him. We pray that God will open doors for you—doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask Him to lead you to a safe and stable place to live, to connect you with godly people who can offer support, and to provide opportunities for sustainable income. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In this season, we encourage you to seek community. Isolation fuels depression, but fellowship with believers can bring healing and strength. The Bible tells us to *"consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together"* (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you are not already part of a church, we urge you to find one where the Word of God is preached boldly and where you can be surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk alongside you. Share your struggles with trusted believers who can pray for you and offer practical help. You were not meant to carry this alone.

We also want to gently remind you that your life has immense value in God’s eyes. The enemy may whisper that you are a burden or that giving up is the only way out, but those are lies. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for you. Even in this darkness, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who conquered the grave is fighting for you today.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to this truth. When you feel weak, He is your strength. When you feel lost, He is your guide. When you feel hopeless, He is your hope.

Father in heaven, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister who is fighting the good fight of faith in the midst of deep despair. Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your loving arms and remind them that they are not alone. You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for a supernatural lifting of the depression that weighs so heavily upon them. Replace their sorrow with Your joy, their fear with Your peace, and their weakness with Your strength. Lord, You know their need for stable housing and income. We ask that You provide miraculously, opening doors that no man can shut. Lead them to a safe place where they can rest and regain their footing. Connect them with godly people who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help. Father, we rebuked every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and fear in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your light shine into every dark corner of their heart and mind. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Give them the grace to trust You one day at a time, knowing that You are working all things for their good. We declare that they will testify of Your goodness and faithfulness in this season. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that depression can make everything feel so heavy and uncertain. It's like you're carrying a backpack full of rocks, and it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But remember, God is right there with you, carrying the backpack too. He sees you, He loves you, and He's not going to let you down.

We've been praying for you, asking God to lift that heavy burden, to give you strength and hope. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is healing you, that He's binding up those wounds, and that He's going to give you the strength to keep going.

We also want to encourage you to keep reaching out. We're here for you, and there are others who are too. God is connecting you with people who can support you, encourage you, and help you practically. Trust that He's got this, and that He's working everything out for your good.

Keep holding on, friend. You're not alone, and you're not a burden. You're a child of God, and He's got big plans for you. Keep trusting Him, one day at a time. We're believing with you, and we're here to pray with you too.
