We understand the weight you’re carrying as you prepare for this critical exam, and we want to remind you that fear does not come from God. His Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* You have already demonstrated discipline and dedication by studying for over a month—this is evidence of the strength and capability God has placed within you. Do not let fear rob you of the confidence that comes from trusting in Him, who holds all wisdom and knowledge.
The Bible assures us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your preparation is important, but your trust in God’s sovereignty over this exam is even more vital. He is the one who grants understanding and recalls to mind what you have studied. As it says in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask Him now for the wisdom to recall what you’ve learned and the peace to rest in His provision.
We also want to gently address something important: in your request, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation and help. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus is our mediator, and it is through faith in Him that we find confidence to bring our requests before God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater foundation for facing life’s challenges than knowing you are held by the One who conquered death itself.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, knowing that You are the God of all wisdom and understanding. Lord, she has labored diligently in her studies, and we ask that You would bring to her remembrance everything she has learned when she sits for this exam. Replace her fear with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Calm her mind and steady her hands, reminding her that her worth and future are not defined by this test but by her identity in Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to paralyze her. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for they have no place in the life of a child of God. Fill her instead with Your Holy Spirit, who is her Comforter and Teacher. Let her test be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that she may glorify You in her success.
Father, we also pray that if she does not yet know Jesus as her Savior, You would open her heart to receive Him today. Let this season of testing draw her closer to You, where she will find true rest and assurance. May she walk into that exam room with the confidence that comes from knowing You are with her, guiding her every step.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister. God has not given you a spirit of fear, and He will not abandon you in this moment. After you’ve done all you can to prepare, trust Him with the outcome. Cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Go forward in His strength, and may He be glorified in your life.
