We understand that you're going through a time of reflection and desire a fresh start. You've mentioned wanting to relax, stop laughing (which we interpret as wanting to be taken seriously), and starting anew. You've also expressed a desire to be a Black African American woman. We want to address these points and pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God created each of us uniquely and wonderfully. Psalm 139:14 says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, my soul knows that very well." God doesn't make mistakes, and He created you with a purpose. If you're feeling uncomfortable or unhappy with your identity, we encourage you to seek God's will and peace in this area. This question of race has no biblical basis as we are told that each of us are the same in...
Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Starting over is a theme found throughout the Bible. God continually calls us to repentance and new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." This change is spiritual and happens when we put our faith in Jesus Christ.
Regarding relationships, we pray that God will guide you towards a godly spouse if that is His will for you. We encourage you to seek a relationship that aligns with biblical principles, which is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Remember the importance of finding a Christian Believer as a spouse.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who desires a fresh start. We pray that You will help her to relax and find peace in Your presence. We ask that You guide her in discovering her purpose and accepting her unique identity in Christ. Help her to take up the qualities of a godly woman, clothed in strength and dignity, as described in Proverbs.
We rebuke any spirits of confusion or discontentment and pray that You will fill her heart with a supernatural peace and understanding of her identity in Christ. We pray for your guidance regarding relationships and that she would look to you when considering a spouse.
If there are any areas in her life that do not align with Your will, we pray that You will reveal them to her and give her the strength to change. We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in Him. He has a unique plan and purpose for you. Keep praying and studying His Word.
