Hey standers,
I'm still alive and praying. Things are taking a turn for the better in my life and it is all because of the Lord. I continue to draw closer to him everyday and he continues to bless me more and more.
Now just because you don't see me on here as much doesn't mean I'm not praying everyday for all of you, you are all my family.
I will be back soon with my daily "standers encouragements" but felt like I just needed to back away from everything for a while to focus more on the Lord and what he wants me to do.
Let's never stop praising Him, never stop believing that He can and will restore our marriages, and let's never become so overwhelmed by our circumstances that we forget to keep Jesus first.
Now today I want to share with you all an email that was sent to me. It was just one of those things that make you say wow. I hope you enjoy it and are blessed.
###.
Jesus Christ said; "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
( Luke 6:27-28 *NIV )
As you know it is written; 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' ( Matthew 19:19 & Leviticus:18.)
So today I would like to share with you a message that was sent to me by one of our subscribers. May it minister to you as it has to me. It is titled.....
The Dart Test...
A young lady named ###, relates an experience she had in a seminary class, given by her teacher, Dr ###. She says that Dr ### was known for his elaborate object lessons.
Now one particular day, ### walked into the seminary and knew they were in for a fun day.
On the wall was a big target and on a nearby table were many darts. Dr. ### told the students to draw a picture of someone that they disliked, or someone who had made them angry, and he would allow them to throw darts at the person's picture.
###'s friend drew a picture of who had stolen her boyfriend. Another friend drew a picture of his little brother. ### drew a picture of a former friend, putting a great deal of detail into her drawing, even drawing pimples on the face. ### was very pleased with the overall effect she had achieved.
The class lined up and began throwing darts. Some of the students threw their darts with such force that their targets were ripping apart. ### looked forward to her turn, and was filled with disappointment when Dr. ###, because of time limits, asked the students to return to their seats. As ### sat thinking about how angry she was because she didn't have a chance to throw any darts at her target. Dr. ### began removing the target from the wall.
Underneath the target was a picture of Jesus. Needless to say a hush fell over the room as each student viewed the mangled picture of Jesus; holes and jagged marks covered His face and His eyes were pierced.
It was then that Dr. ### said only these words... 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'
( Matthew 25:40. ) No other words were necessary; as tears filled eyes of the students, as they focused only on the mangled picture of Jesus Christ. ( Author Unknown )
