standers encouragement 1/4/08 part 2

Hey standers,

I just wanted to clear up something about the 01/04/09 standers encouragement.

It is actually a repost from last July 08 but it is also a testimony to our Lord and the power of prayer.

You see my wife told me that me I would be receiving divorce papers the week after July 16, 2008 and also that we shouldn't talk anymore unless it was an emergency. Now as much as it hurt my heart I agreed not to call her continued to pray and believe in the Lords power to prevent divorce.

Well here we are 6 months afterwards and not only have divorce papers NOT been filed but my wife either calls or text messages me 2 to 3 times a week. As a matter of fact she has not spoken the word divorce since.

Now the fact that no divorce papers were ever filed and my wife now calls me has nothing to do with me and EVERYTHING to do with God being faithful to His word and answering the prayers of those who call out to Him.

According to the worlds standards my marriage was dead at the point my wife said she was filing divorce. According to the world I should have given up months ago but according to Jesus EVERYTHING is possible if you believe and pray.

Restoration, healing and miracles are on the way if we continue to Pray.

May we continue to only look towards your words, and not the principles of this world. I am so thankful for Ronnies testimonies. Lord, i pray we stay on the right path always. Help me to acknowledge all of the beautiful traits you built into him. I pray for all of the husbands & wives who come to this site for prayer for their marriages. Please bless them, restore them & surround them with your unending love & protection. I pray that you would help all of us to be great communicators with our spouses & that our spouses will reciprocate with love. Help all of us to grow in Christ. lord i agree with these prayers for standers, lord i pray you will continue to work on my marriage and remove every obsticle that stands in the way of us reconciling..lord please move the mountains that separate us move tonite in my wifes life to bring her to the end of the path she is walking down, close it totally and send her on a detour that leads her to the truth and to your will and plan for her life and crush the lies that have been spoken by the advisary to my wife...lord soften her towards me everyday..lord come and heal my marriage i pray in jesus name amen
