standers encouragement 1/4/09

Hey standers,

I am hoping and praying today that you are all doing ok and are praising our Lord.

For so many of us, me included, our marriages and families SEEM beyond repair even for God. It SEEMS sometimes that the more we pray the deeper into the pits of despair we fall and the more our spouses and families are disconnecting from us. It SEEMS as if it would be so much easier and less painful to just let go and move on because it SEEMS that's what our spouses and families have done so easily.

I put so much stress on the word SEEMS because that's exactly what satan wants us to become focused on, what our situations SEEM like. This week I have gone into almost non-stop prayer for my wife and all of my fellow standers' marriages and families. Satan has attacked us all with such powerful blows recently and as you may know my wife told me that she plans to file for divorce one day this week. She barely calls me anyone and by all accounts my marriage is dead by the world's standards. This hurts me more than I tend to tell people but I can say for sure that I have never felt more pain and fear than I do at this moment. But luckily for me I still have a mustard seed of faith and too bad for the world and satan that I am not counting on the world's standards to breathe new life into my marriage or my fellow standers' marriages.

I have to remember and remind you all that as long as we have faith ANYTHING, ANYTHING, ANYTHING, is possible for the Lord that crushes the impossible everyday!!!

I am praying, pleading and believing that Jesus is sending a miracle to me, my precious wife and to everyone who ask and believe.

Dear Jesus, I ask for your forgiveness of my sins...thank you Lord. Lord, I certainly stand in agreement with ###. I know he is hurting and I know he does so much as far as standing with us in our relationships and I pray Jesus, you would bless him and restore his life to what it should be, however you see fit Lord.....you know best. Thank you Lord. Amen.

Hallelujah. Faith is the hope of things to come. Without faith our works are dead. ### you keep on having faith in our Lord. Faith in Jesus. By reading his word daily we see all the acts of faith that have been rewarded. God is still doing that today. God is our hope and strength and the more we send up prayers it cements the fate of the enemy and those he has sent to do his dirty work.

So I pray: Father Lord the enemy and all his minions are stepping up their warfare in our marriages. I pray that you continue to guide ### along the path that leads to you. Father your servant ### intends to stand for his marriage, whatever or whichever ammunition the enemy uses I pray that you by his guide and shield. Block the advances of the enemy Lord. Cleanse his wife from the inside out and cover her with the blood of your Son Jesus so that she will be under his blood and the enemy will have no foothold. Father create in her a clean heart. Remind her every waking day of the love her husband has for her. All the prayers he is sending up for her, this proves his undying love. The love he spoke of when he said his vows. Lord keep the enemy away. Lord bring them to you. Lord protect them this and every day. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
