He Will Deliver Again!!
1 Sam. 17:37 "David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine."
David had confidence in God because of past victories. He had faith that God would win this battle again because this giant was defying the armies of the Living God. Experience and faith told David that this Goliath that threatened God's people would end up like the lion and the bear he had slain while defending his father's sheep.
David's integrity was tied to God. He had put his trust in God when fighting the lion and bear, "The Lord that delivered me . . ." Now David faced the biggest challenge of his life; he faced Goliath, and He had confidence that this same God who delivered him in the past, will deliver him again.
When you properly use your faith, it grows to the size of your ability to trust God for bigger things in the future. This same God who came through in other areas of your life, is able to come through in your present situation, again and again. God never loses and never will.
Has the Lord ever answered your prayers in the past? Can you recall ever being in a situation where the Lord delivered you? This same God who came through for you in the past, will DO IT AGAIN. He will deliver again. He will do it again. He does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
We serve a faithful God who will not leave us alone in the valley of separation or divorce. He will make every crooked path straight. God delivered you in the past, and will do it again. I believe that this same God WILL DELIVER in your present situation.
Maybe some are wondering if their marriages will ever be restored. I encourage you to look back, think back on the faithfulness of God. You have come this far by faith. God had kept you all these months or years and He will never leave you alone.
Take comfort in what the Lord has already done for you. Take comfort in past victories and believe for your future victories without a sign. This is faith.
Rom. 4:17 "God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did."
David was successful because he believed God. David had experienced God's faithfulness in his past, which gave him the faith to trust God in the present.
When you're in a situation that appears hopeless, remember God's faithfulness from the past and you'll begin to rise out of that circumstance while trusting God for the victory.
Genuine faith believes that God is able to defeat the giants you face today. David recalled past victories and said, "I remember what God did for me and I believe He can do it now."
Keep believing.
