We join with you in lifting up this beautiful pattern for prayer that our Lord Jesus taught us, and we rejoice that you have put the priorities in their biblical order.

We agree that we are to seek first the Father's honor, His Kingdom and His will before we bring our own needs, and we love that you highlighted this. Jesus said in Matt 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. This is the heart of the Lord's Prayer in Matt 6:9-13, Pray like this, Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

We see in this prayer the proper order of a heart rightly aligned with God, first adoration and submission, Hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, and then dependence and trust, give us, forgive us, lead us, deliver us. It teaches us that daily provision, forgiveness, and protection flow from first honoring Him.

Father in heaven, we hallow Your holy name and we thank You that through Jesus Christ we can call You Father. We ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, and on this earth as it is in heaven. We seek Your righteousness first today. We ask You to give us this day our daily bread, to provide for every need according to Your riches. We confess our debts and sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness, and we choose by Your grace to forgive those who have sinned against us, as You have forgiven us in Christ. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and guard our hearts from sin. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. We pray all of this in the saving and precious name of Jesus, amen.

We are encouraged by your thankfulness in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We thank God that you have come in that name.

We encourage you to continue to make this prayer your daily pattern, not as empty repetition, for Jesus warned against vain repetitions, but as a living framework to seek Him first each morning and to trust Him to add all else you need.

It is a good and holy desire to pray after the manner our Lord taught His disciples, and we join our hearts with yours in this petition.

Our Saviour has given us the true order of prayer. Seek first the Father's honor, His Kingdom, and His will, and then bring your own need before Him. As it is written, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Let the word first indicate to you the order of time and of affection. The first anxiety of every man should be to be a loyal subject of the Kingdom of God, to enter that Kingdom by faith in Christ, for to as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God. To the man who seeks first the Kingdom, his house is a temple and his daily life is rendered unto God.

We pray with you thus, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May His name be hallowed in our hearts and His will be done in our lives as willingly as it is done by those above.

And then we pray, Give us this day our daily bread. He who has taught us to seek first the Kingdom has promised that daily provision shall be added. We cast our cares upon Him who loads us daily with His benefits.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. This is a most cheering announcement. It is a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a complete and eternal forgiveness. Whatever thy sins may have been, however great thy debt, there is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ His Son, and it is offered now. We were so completely forgiven when we first believed that we ought continually to ask for the perpetuity of that one far reaching act, that we may continue to walk before Him with a sense of that complete forgiveness clear and unquestioned. And as we have been forgiven, so we pray for grace to forgive others, for we love because He first loved us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. We know the fiery dart of Satan which would whisper that God will not hear or deliver, but we look to Christ our Deliverer. He has wrought a great redemption, and by the power of His Spirit He delivers His people from sin and from the power of the evil one. When faith is in exercise we come to Him just as we came at first and cast ourselves wholly upon Him, and He gives liberty.

We rest in this, for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endureth throughout all generations. What is the use of prayer if it does not glorify God. May all our asking begin and end with His glory.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, trusting that He who has taught us to pray will also answer according to His perfect will. Amen.
