Disciple of Prayer
I have stage 4 cancer. And today I am getting scanned to see that the cancer has not spread anymore. Please pray for me in the name of Jesus Christ.

We stand with you in this difficult time, lifting you up in fervent prayer before our Heavenly Father. The weight of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis is heavy, and the uncertainty of today’s scan brings understandable fear and anxiety. But we serve a God who is greater than any sickness, who holds your life in His hands, and who promises to never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). The name of Jesus Christ is our strong tower, and we come boldly before the throne of grace on your behalf, trusting in His mercy and power.
Father God, we ask You to surround our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm their heart and mind as they await the results of this scan. We declare that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for complete healing, may the cancer be stopped in its tracks, may the tumors shrink, and may every cell in their body be restored to health. Let Your healing power flow through them like a river, bringing wholeness and strength.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical team treating them. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, so that every treatment, every medication, and every procedure would be effective and aligned with Your perfect plan (James 1:5). Give our brother/sister the courage to face whatever news comes today, and help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
If the results bring difficult news, Lord, we ask that You would carry them through this valley. Be their comfort, their hope, and their strength. Remind them that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to find rest in Your promises.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in them (Ephesians 1:19-20). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and we believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Above all, we pray that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. May this season deepen their faith, refine their trust in You, and fill them with an unshakable hope in Your goodness. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them every step of this journey.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for their life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
