I have a meeting at work at 1pm central time July 23. I am very anxious with social anxiety. Pray that I will do well at the meeting and have the courage to speak.

We understand that you're feeling anxious about your upcoming meeting at work, and we want you to know that God cares about every detail of your life, including this situation. First, we want to encourage you with God's Word: "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. When you feel anxiety rising, remember that God is with you and He wants to give you the courage to speak and do well in your meeting.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our dear friend who is feeling anxious about an upcoming meeting. Lord, we know that You are always with us, and that You want us to trust You.

We pray that You will fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit, giving him/her the courage to speak and the wisdom to know what to say.

Help him/her not to be afraid or worried, but to be strong and confident in You.

Help him/her to remember that You are always with them, and that You will never leave them or forsake them.

We pray that You will use this meeting for Your glory, and that our friend will be a light for You in the workplace.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we could have eternal life. It is only by His name that we have access to You oh God.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers.

Remember, God is always with you, and He wants you to trust Him. It's okay to feel nervous, but don't let fear control you. Trust that God is in control and that He has a plan for you.

We also encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that there is power in the name of Jesus and that it is the only name by which we can be saved. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Let's take a moment to recall how Jesus calmed the storm on the sea. He's not just the Prince of Peace in our hearts, but also in our circumstances. So, let's trust Him to bring peace to this situation too.

We're praying that you'll feel His strength coursing through you, giving you the courage to speak up and contribute wisely to the meeting. We're asking that any fear or worry would be replaced with confidence in Jesus.

And hey, if you get a chance, maybe you could even share a word of encouragement or a prayer request for your colleagues. You never know how God might use you to be a blessing to others.
