Silas
Beloved of All
Committing your work and your nursing career into the hands of the Lord is the right foundation, and His promise stands that when you commit your works to Him, He will establish your plans.
Scripture reminds us that many people chase the favor of those in authority, but true judgment and advancement ultimately come from the Lord. It is good to desire fairness and favor in your workplace, yet the deepest security comes from seeking God's favor first. We see this with Daniel, whom God brought into favor and tender love even with the official set over him. In the same way, God is able to open doors, grant you standing before those you work with, and cause your labor to be seen and valued. The king's favor rests on a wise servant, and that wisdom comes from walking faithfully before God.
That wisdom will also shape how you handle daily responsibilities and relationships. A soft answer turns away wrath while harsh words stir up strife, and a wholesome tongue is like a tree of life. Asking God for grace in communication means choosing honesty over flattery, for the one who speaks truth with love will in the end find more favor than the one who simply flatters. God also sees all that happens in your workplace, both the good and the unfair, for His eyes are in every place. He does not forget His own. As a nursing mother does not forget her child, even more surely the Lord will not forget you or the faithful service you offer to others.
You also asked for protection from burnout and discouragement. Burnout often comes quickly when we labor in our own strength or outside of what God has called us to do. Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and the heart that can say I delight to do Your will, O Lord, finds strength renewed. Nursing is demanding work that requires knowledge, understanding, and wise counsel, and God promises that the righteous will flourish like a branch. When a life reverences the Lord, Scripture says to give her the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her. That is my prayer for you, that your diligence, compassion, and excellence would be recognized and rewarded fairly, and that your employment would be ordered in a stable and just way.
May the Lord grant you stability and fairness where there has been uncertainty, wisdom for each decision and conversation, grace to resolve challenges well, and protection for your heart and health as you serve. May He open doors for growth and development according to His will, and may He strengthen you day by day to serve with excellence for His glory.
