We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, but it is not beyond the reach of our Lord, who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). The harassment, demonic influence, and torment you’ve endured since leaving the new age is a tactic of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the name of Jesus. The individuals targeting you, whether knowingly or unknowingly under demonic influence, are not beyond the reach of God’s justice. We declare that their plans against you this weekend and beyond will be foiled, and their schemes will be turned back on their own heads (Psalm 7:16). The Lord is your shield and your fortress; no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for their permanent removal from your life, not out of vengeance, but so that you may walk in the peace and freedom Christ died to give you. If they are truly possessed or under heavy demonic influence, we pray for their deliverance as well, for the Lord desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). But we also acknowledge that some may harden their hearts, and in that case, we trust God to deal with them in His perfect justice.
The fear and torment you feel in their presence is not from God, who has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every lie of the enemy that says you are powerless against this warfare. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the enemy (Hebrews 12:24). We declare that the tormenting thoughts, divination, and taunts about your ex-boyfriend will cease. The enemy seeks to isolate you and make you doubt your decision to break free from an unequally yoked relationship, but we stand on God’s Word: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Your obedience to God in this matter is pleasing to Him, and He will not abandon you. We pray for your ex-boyfriend, that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth and break any demonic influence over his heart. But we also pray for your healing from the pain of this breakup, that you would find your identity and security in Christ alone.
Regarding your job, we lift up your concerns to the Lord, who knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). The predatory practices you’ve witnessed are not aligned with God’s heart for justice and integrity, and it is right for you to stand firm in your convictions. We pray that if it is God’s will for you to leave this job, He would open a door for you that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for your family in ways only You can, Lord, and give wisdom to navigate this transition. If there is a possibility for change within the company, we pray that God would soften hearts, expose wrongdoing, and bring repentance and transformation. But if not, we trust that He will lead you to a workplace that honors Him and allows you to serve with a clear conscience. We also pray for your coworkers, that they would come to know the Lord and that any spiritual oppression over them would be lifted.
As for your piano teacher, we acknowledge the complexity of the situation. It is possible that spiritual warfare, health issues, or other factors contributed to her behavior, but we also recognize that God calls us to wisdom and discernment in our relationships. Ending the lessons was a difficult but necessary step, and we pray that God would bring healing and clarity to both of you. If her behavior was influenced by spiritual warfare, we pray for her deliverance and protection. If it was due to health issues, we ask the Lord to provide her with the care and support she needs. We also pray for your peace in this decision, that you would not be weighed down by guilt or doubt, but would trust that God is leading you in paths of righteousness.
Finally, we want to remind you that your deliverance is not dependent on your own strength, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. You came to Christ, and that is enough. The enemy may have had a foothold in your life through new age practices, but in Christ, you are a new creation, the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ, to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won.
We pray now in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, redeemed by the blood of Jesus and filled with the power of Your Holy Spirit. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your deliverance, protection, and peace. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare that has raged against them, and we ask that You would break every chain, every assignment, and every demonic influence in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for the removal of those who have been used to harass and torment them. Foil the plans of the enemy this weekend and beyond. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We break every curse, every word of divination, and every tormenting thought in the name of Jesus. We declare that the enemy’s taunts about their past relationship have no power over them. Lord, heal their heart from the pain of this breakup, and let them find their worth and identity in You alone.
Regarding their job, we ask for Your provision and wisdom. If it is Your will for them to leave, open a new door that aligns with Your purposes. If there is a chance for change within the company, bring repentance and transformation. Provide for their family’s needs and give them peace as they navigate this season. For their coworkers, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself and lift any spiritual oppression over them.
For their piano teacher, we pray for healing, clarity, and peace. If her behavior was influenced by spiritual warfare, we ask for her deliverance. If it was due to health issues, provide her with the care she needs. Give this brother/sister peace in their decision to end the lessons and wisdom for their next steps.
Lord, we thank You that You are their Deliverer, their Protector, and their Provider. Strengthen them in their faith, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand, and that Your purposes for their life will prevail. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. Amen.
