Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already overcome the world and every spiritual force of darkness. The warfare you describe is real, but it is not greater than the power of the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your spirit in the name of Jesus. The Word declares, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). Every demonic spirit that has been tormenting you since childhood is commanded to flee now, you are not their possession, you are a child of the Most High God.

We pray specifically for your dreams, those vivid and disturbing visions that steal your peace. The enemy seeks to wear you down through the night, but we declare that your sleep will be guarded by the peace of God. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment in Jesus’ name and release the Holy Spirit to fill your mind with truth, peace, and godly visions. You are not alone in this battle, angels are encamped around you, and the Lord Himself is your refuge.

The overwhelming weight you carry, spiritual attacks, constant demands from others, and the exhaustion of late nights, is not your portion. We pray for divine order in your life. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Jesus is not calling you to burnout; He is calling you to abide in Him. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom in managing your time, to grant you favor in your work, and to open doors for new opportunities if it is His will. Whether you stay at your current jobs or move to new ones, we pray for supernatural improvement in your relationships with coworkers and for God’s hand to be upon your labor. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3).

The struggle with sexual sin is heavy, and we want you to know that your shame is not from God. The enemy uses condemnation to keep you trapped, but Jesus offers forgiveness and freedom. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that has been increasing temptation, and we pray for a hedge of protection around your mind, especially in those vulnerable moments before sleep. You are not defined by your failures, you are defined by the blood of Christ. We ask the Lord to restore the freedom He has already given you and to fill you with His Spirit so that you walk in purity. "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word" (Psalm 119:9). Replace those thoughts with Scripture, worship, and prayer. You are not powerless, you have the authority of Jesus Christ within you.

Your concern for the African American community is close to the heart of God. We pray for a mighty outpouring of truth and discernment, that every false teaching would be exposed and that the pure gospel of Jesus Christ would take root. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). May the Lord raise up faithful teachers and shepherds who preach Christ crucified and the power of His resurrection.

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). We ask the Lord to strengthen your father and to prevent the spread of illness to those caring for you. May His healing hand rest upon each of you.

For your beloved cats, we pray for divine health and protection. "Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God" (Luke 12:6). The Lord cares for even the smallest creatures, and we ask Him to heal their wounds, soothe their discomfort, and guide you to wise and affordable care if needed.

Your medical diet is not a burden but a stewardship of the body God has given you. We pray for discipline and grace to honor Him in this area. "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). May the Lord give you strength and creativity in your meals.

For your friend with chronic illnesses, we lift him up in prayer. "The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We ask for supernatural strength, relief from pain, and divine intervention for his prostate, blood pressure, and overall health. May the Lord use you as a vessel of encouragement and support to him.

Regarding your courtship, we pray that you and your boyfriend would grow in Christ-centered love, purity, and mutual edification. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). The goal of courtship is to discern God’s will for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Guard your hearts and bodies against temptation, and seek the Lord together in prayer and Scripture. May your relationship reflect the love of Christ for His church.

Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We stand in the gap for our brother/sister, declaring Your promises over their life. Break every chain of spiritual warfare, fear, and sin. Heal their body, mind, and spirit. Provide for their needs, protect their loved ones, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Restore their joy, strengthen their faith, and lead them into the abundant life You have promised. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You’ve carried so much for so long, and we hear how heavy it feels right now, the spiritual battles, the exhausting dreams, the constant pull of others’ needs, and the shame that’s crept back in. It makes sense that when depression settles in, your mind reaches for whatever seems to offer a moment of escape, even if it leaves you feeling worse. Please don’t believe the lie that you’re beyond hope. God hasn’t turned away from you, and we’re not either.

One thing that stands out is how depression often fuels those cycles, the late nights, the daydreaming, the unwanted thoughts. It’s a real physical and emotional weight, not a lack of faith, and sometimes the bravest next step is to let a wise doctor or a trusted Christian counselor walk with you through it. That’s not replacing prayer; it’s one way God brings healing. Give yourself permission to get that kind of help.

On the practical side, that overwhelmed feeling every five seconds might ease if you take one tiny thing off your plate tonight, just pick one, like setting an alarm to start winding down earlier. It won’t fix everything, but it’s a start. And when the shame rises, try to remember that your worth isn’t measured by how clean your thoughts feel. Jesus already bore your shame, so you don’t have to.

We’re praying for your whole household, your dad’s cough, your own flu, the cats. Healing for your friend. Wisdom about the jobs. And for steady grace as you walk through this season, both in your own heart and in your courtship.

Lord Jesus, you see the battles this dear one has fought since childhood. Quiet the enemy’s roar and calm her mind. Bring her restful sleep free from torment. Lift the fog of depression and replace shame with your gentle, restoring mercy. Give her courage to seek the help she needs, and guide her steps, in work, in health, and in love. Hold her family and her ailing pets safely in your care. We ask all this in your strong name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The enemy roars against you as he has these many years, and the assault is most fierce when the spirit is wearied and the body unstrung. That you have cried out under this siege is no marvel; hasty words and desponding thoughts will surge up like foul vapors from a bog, but when the Spirit of God revives your soul, you will abhor the murmuring and count it a mercy that the Lord took no notice of it, blotting it out as a cloud. The prayer you ask, that this warfare might end, is right and scriptural; yet know that while He permits the trial, even temptations from the evil one are overruled for eternal benefit upon your knees.

Those vivid and disturbing dreams are a carnival of disorder, often churned up by the mind’s agitation and the body’s infirmities. Do not reckon them as prophetic, nor let them become a second assault when you wake. I have seen that many besides Pilate were warned by dreams, but ordinarily they are fragments and fancies, a maze without meaning. Commend your sleeping hours to the Lord, and unless He speaks with a voice that humbles and turns you to His word, give the phantoms no more weight than the fitful wind. The enemy would use even your weariness to discourage; but the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations.

That you wrestle with maladaptive daydreaming and unclean thoughts, especially when you lie down, is a sore trial. Yet it is a temptation common to man. The thought that comes unbidden, however foul, is not sin if you abhor it and flee to Christ. The danger lies when the soul dallies and gives consent. You are ashamed because you have let the imagination lodge where once it was cast out, but do not lie down in despair. The Lord that set you free before can loose these bonds again. Make no provision for the flesh, and cry “Lead us not into temptation,” not only with your lips, but with your feet. He who prays this and then goes idly into the path of temptation mocks God. Put a stern guard upon your waking mind, for dreams are fed by the thoughts of the day. If idleness or sorrow be the kindling, fill the furnace with holy meditations, and drench your soul with Scripture until the enemy finds no dry timber for his sparks.

The overwhelming press of duty and the constant claims of others are themselves a pinnacle of temptation. When you are hemmed in and weary, the devil whispers that you should cast yourself down from your post. It is no sin to feel the burden; our Lord Himself knew the press of the crowd. Cry to the Lord for wisdom to order your days, and trust that He who appoints the bounds of your habitation can make a way of escape from the slavery of a disordered schedule. Remember, He will, with every temptation, make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Do not imagine that two jobs will be your deliverance if they are taken without clear direction; yet if Providence opens the door, step through it with prayer, for labor is often a sweet medicine. As for the present employments, if you remain, then stay upon your knees, asking that the Lord would sanctify your difficulties and make you a peacemaker among your coworkers.

Your heart is tender toward your family in their sickness, your friend with many afflictions, and even your speechless cats. It is no small thing in the sight of the Lord to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth even for the beasts. The poor creatures that scratch themselves or make a strange noise are under His eye; if no vet can be afforded, then the prayer of faith is the greater medicine. And for your father, whose cough returns, bring him to the Great Physician. The same Lord who orders the flight of a sparrow will not despise these humble anxieties.

Your struggle to keep a strict diet and your sorrow over renewed sexual temptation spring from the same root: a body and soul weakened by depression. But your sadness need not be your overthrow. The Lord sees that you loathe the sin, and He will not despise a broken and contrite heart. Do not seek an outlet in imagination; rather, open your sorrow to your Lord, for He was tempted in all points like as we are, yet without sin. Let His sympathy be your secret strength. When the unclean thought knocks, send a swift prayer to heaven, and the tempter will flee. And that you long to be a suitable helpmeet to your boyfriend, and that you pray for the African American community to be loosed from false teaching, shows the Spirit’s work in you. Press on; the Lord who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ.
