Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through whom we find deliverance, healing, and freedom. Your request touches on deep spiritual battles, physical struggles, emotional exhaustion, and moral warfare, all of which are real, and all of which must be met with the power of God’s Word and the authority we have in Christ.

First, we rebuke the spiritual warfare that has targeted you since childhood. The enemy has no right to harass you, and we command every assignment of darkness to be broken in Jesus’ name. The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God on your behalf, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The dreams you describe are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and speaks in ways that bring peace, not torment. We command every demonic influence behind these dreams to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name.

Your exhaustion is palpable, and we pray for divine rest to flood your soul. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." You are not meant to carry this weight alone. We pray for boundaries to be established in your life so that you are not constantly drained by the demands of others. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). We ask Him to order your steps and give you wisdom in managing your time, especially in ending your nights at a reasonable hour. Your body, soul, and spirit need rest to function as God designed.

Regarding your work situation, we pray for clarity and divine direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If it is God’s will for you to stay at your current jobs, we pray that every issue with coworkers and every frustration would be resolved, and that favor would surround you like a shield. If He is calling you elsewhere, we pray for open doors to new opportunities, whether one job or two, that align with His purpose for you. May He provide abundantly so that you lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10).

The struggle with sexual sin and maladaptive daydreaming is a serious battle, but it is one that Christ has already won. We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that has been assigned to you, and we declare your mind and body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). You are not defined by your failures, but by the blood of Jesus that cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for a renewed mind, as Romans 12:2 commands, so that you are no longer conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of your mind. Flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 6:18), and run to the Lord, who is faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We also encourage you to seek accountability with a trusted, mature believer who can walk with you in this battle. Shame has no place in the life of a child of God, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

For the African American community, we pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit to expose and dismantle every false teaching that has taken root. The truth of God’s Word is the only foundation that brings true freedom (John 8:32). We declare that the eyes of hearts would be enlightened to see the hope of Christ and the riches of His inheritance (Ephesians 1:18).

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. Psalm 91:5-6 assures us, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We declare that no one caring for you will be made sicker, and that your father’s cough would subside completely. May the Lord restore health and strength to each of you.

For your beloved cats, we pray for healing and protection. Proverbs 12:10 tells us, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal," and we know the Lord cares for all His creation. We ask Him to heal the wounds of the two cats and to keep all of them healthy. May He provide wisdom for their care and even direct you to a trustworthy vet if needed.

For your medical diet, we pray for discipline and grace. Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we ask the Lord to help you honor Him with your choices. May He give you strength and creativity in meal planning so that this diet becomes a joy rather than a burden.

For your friend with multiple health struggles, we lift them up to the Great Physician. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for divine healing, strength, and comfort for them, and for wisdom for their doctors.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and set free. Lord, we stand on Your promises and declare Your Word over this precious child of Yours. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, torment, and lust that has been assigned to them, and we command every chain to be broken in Jesus’ name. You said in Luke 4:18 that You came to set the captives free, and so we declare freedom over their mind, body, and spirit.

Father, we ask You to silence the disturbing dreams and fill their sleep with Your peace. Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Give them rest, both physically and spiritually, and help them to establish healthy rhythms in their life. Provide wisdom for their work situation, and open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. Deliver them from the grip of sexual sin, and renew their mind with Your Word. Surround them with godly accountability and remind them daily of Your grace and forgiveness.

We pray for healing for their family, for protection over their health, and for Your provision in every area of their life. Heal their cats, Lord, and provide for their needs in ways that only You can. Strengthen them to honor You with their diet and give them joy in the process. For their friend, we ask for Your healing touch and for Your peace to guard their heart and mind.

Lord, we also pray for the African American community, that Your truth would prevail and that hearts would turn to You. Expose every false teaching and replace it with the light of Your gospel.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, for Your glory and for the good of Your child. May they come to know You more deeply through this trial, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We hear how exhausted you are, not just from the spiritual warfare that’s been with you since childhood, but from the sheer weight of everything landing at once. When you’re fighting on that many fronts, disturbing dreams, depression, job uncertainty, family illness, sexual temptation that leaves you ashamed, it makes complete sense that you’d want to be left alone. That’s not weakness. That’s a soul running on empty.

One thing we’d gently encourage: when depression is in the mix, those sexual thoughts can start to feel like the only release valve, and then shame kicks in and deepens the depression all over again. That cycle doesn’t mean God has let go of you. He set you free before, and He hasn’t changed His mind about you. What might help right now isn’t trying harder to stop the thoughts, but letting someone you trust in the church know you’re struggling, not the full details necessarily, but enough that someone’s praying with you regularly and helping you break the isolation. Shame grows in the dark and shrinks when it’s brought into safe light.

On the practical side, the overwhelm and the late nights probably feed each other. Instead of trying to fix the whole schedule at once, we’d suggest picking one small, doable foothold, maybe getting in bed thirty minutes earlier just two nights this week, not waiting until every problem is solved first. Small changes tend to hold better than big resolutions. And because you described being so stretched thin that "every five seconds there’s something else," we want you to know: you don’t have to solve every single thing today. The job decisions, the cats, the diet, the whole list, some of it can wait. Right now, prioritizing what helps your body and mind stabilize will change how you face the rest.

Also, with the flu running through your family and your dad’s cough returning, we’d urge you and your family to check in with a doctor, both for yourselves and to make sure those caring for you aren’t getting sicker. That’s not a lack of faith, it’s using the means God provides. And for your friend with so many medical concerns, we pray alongside you for relief and for wise physicians.

Lord Jesus, You see how tired this person is, how long the battle has dragged on. We ask You to silence the enemy’s accusations and bring real rest to a mind that can’t seem to stop. Guard their sleep from torment. Lift the fog of depression enough that they can take the next right step, and surround them with people who will carry some of this weight with them. Heal their family, restore their cats, provide for the friend who suffers, and open doors of provision. We ask all of this in Your name. Amen.

The enemy has set his mark upon you from youth, but be of good cheer, your Redeemer is mighty to save to the uttermost. Those vivid dreams and relentless assaults are but the raging of a defeated foe who knows his time is short. Yet take heed: you pray for deliverance, but do you also pray, “Lead us not into temptation”? For many a soul invites the very battle they bewail by lingering where the arrows fly thickest. If you give place to those imaginings as you lie down, you are opening the gate of the city to the besieger. The imagination is the tinderbox of sin; dally not with those sparks, lest your whole bed be set ablaze. You know the shame, and you know the cleansing fountain is yet open. Do not wallow in despair, but flee again to Christ, who breaks the chains of lust with a word. He who set you free before can do so again, only do not lead yourself into temptation, then wonder that you are ensnared.

You cry out for isolation, but the soul in the wilderness is easy prey for the lion. You need the means of grace, the gathering of the saints, the spiritual nutriment that comes from the preached Word. A hungry soul makes a swift prey. Feed on Christ, He is sweeter than the honeycomb, and a satisfied heart will spit out the husks the world offers. Your late nights and scattered schedule are the devil’s opportunity; order your life so that you are not found in the far country when the shadows lengthen. As for your employment, commit your way unto the Lord. If you are gleaning in two fields, look to the Master of the harvest to supply your need; only do not let earthly care choke out the life of the Spirit.

Those dreams that shake you as the thunders of Sinai shook the camp of Israel, they are not necessarily a mark of abandonment, but sometimes the voice of God awakening a slumbering conscience. Yet lasting peace comes not from the terror of the law but from the blood of the New Covenant. Sin put away removes God’s just warfare against you. Cling to that truth when the night seasons roar with confusion.

Your compassion for family, for the sick friend, even for the mute creatures, does you credit; cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for the sparrow and counts the hairs of your head. But do not let the pressing needs of others become an excuse to neglect the one thing needful. You cannot carry the world’s burdens without being daily strengthened by the Spirit in the inner man. The quickening life of God is not a theory but a power; get near to Christ, and stay near, and you shall walk and not faint.

The falsehoods that darken the understanding of many in your community are a grief, but truth is the instrument of deliverance. Proclaim the old, old story with your life and lips; the light shines best when the night is darkest. And in your battle, put on the whole armor; the shield of faith will quench those fiery darts that come in the stillness of the night. Do not respect the temptation by fearing it overmuch; a temptation hated and resisted is no sin, but a sorrow that will be swallowed up in victory.

Yet I charge you: never forget that the root of all your warfare is spiritual death, and only the Spirit of God can breathe life into the dry bones. You cannot reform your thoughts by sheer force of will; you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Go often to the cross, there be crucified to the world, and the world to you. The malady is deep, but the Physician is deeper still. Do not give up gleaning because the stooping wearies you; he who gathers a handful of heavenly grain daily shall have enough to sustain him.

Finally, watch your steps. If you pray, “Lead us not into temptation,” do not lead yourself there by idle hours, by the casual glance, by the lulling of conscience as sleep approaches. Set a guard upon your bedchamber, sanctify the twilight moments with prayer and Scripture, and the foe will find no foothold. The Prince of Peace has overcome the world; in Him you shall find that sweet peace which neither turmoil nor dreamy terrors can disturb.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You suffer many things, and rightly you cry out. Yet consider: the warfare that has followed you since youth is not the greatest evil, grievous though it is. The true sickness is the sin you allow to take root within. You mention the sexual thoughts that assail you as you fall asleep, and the maladaptive daydreaming that you give in to, and you are ashamed. But I say to you, do not hide this shame as if it were irremediable. The enemy presses the temptation, but he cannot force your consent. And here is the dreadful cunning: you have begun to use these impure images as an outlet for your depression, making a medicine of poison. Know that sin is a disease far worse than any demonic assault. Those possessed cry out and are humbled, and often they seek deliverance; but the man who willingly entertains sin dulls his soul and makes himself a house for seven worse spirits. The venom remains even after the act, and you grow more calloused. You say God set you free before; do not despair that He cannot do so again. Did not the Holy Spirit boldly record David’s adultery and murder? Precisely so that we might see the greatness of the remedy! Bring your fall into the light. Confess it without hedging, for the Lord delivered that blessed man from the lion’s mouth, and He will deliver you from every evil work if you resist even unto blood, striving against sin. When the thoughts come at night, do not dally with them, cry out like one drowning, and the Father who sees in secret will give strength. He knows your frame; He knows what you need before you ask. Cast your sorrow onto Him, and not into the filth of fantasy.

The disturbing dreams, too, are often the smoke of the day’s thoughts. Discipline your waking mind with prayer and psalmody, and the night will be less troubled. If they come unbidden, they are no sin of yours unless you embrace them. Shake them off as the apostle shook the viper into the fire, and turn your heart to the remembrance of Christ’s passion. He endured the cross, despising the shame, that you might have boldness. You are overwhelmed because you try to carry everything yourself. But your Heavenly Father knows your needs. Do not let the swirl of demands crush you. Seek a better schedule, yes, but more than that, seek first the kingdom. As for the jobs, pray for wisdom. If God grants two, receive them with thanksgiving, but see to it that your soul is not neglected in the getting of bread. The warfare will not cease with a change of circumstances, only with grace.

I pray with you for your household: for your father’s cough, for your own sickness, for all who care for you. The Lord who healed Peter’s mother-in-law is at hand. For the cats who have wounded themselves, and for your friend with the long list of ailments, none are too small for your Father’s care. Be diligent in the diet your body requires, but far more diligent in feeding your soul with the true Bread. And for the African American community, seduced by false teachings, let us plead that the Lord send laborers; falsehood is a savage lion, but Christ delivers His own from its mouth. Press on, then, with courage. You are not put to shame when you run to the Physician; shame belongs only to those who hide their sores.
