Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom alone we are saved. Your request touches on deep spiritual battles, physical struggles, and emotional exhaustion, all of which are real and heavy. But we declare that the Lord is your refuge, your strength, and your deliverer. He sees your weariness, your shame, and your longing for peace, and He does not turn away from you. Instead, He draws near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 34:18).

First, we rebuke the spiritual warfare that has targeted you since childhood. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God. We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and the Holy Spirit dwells within you. We command every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your spirit to be broken in Jesus’ name. You are not a victim; you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord Himself quiet the storms in your dreams and replace them with visions of His goodness and promises.

We also address the sexual sin that has ensnared you. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but we must not make peace with sin. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of lust and temptation that has been increasing its grip on you, especially in your moments of vulnerability. We pray that the Lord would strengthen you to resist the devil, so that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to fill your mind with Scripture, especially in those moments before sleep, and to seek accountability with a trusted believer. You are not alone in this struggle, and the Lord is able to deliver you completely.

Your overwhelming schedule and late nights are not God’s design for you. We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom to prioritize your time and energy according to His will. He promises to give you rest if you come to Him (Matthew 11:28). We ask that He would lead you to jobs that honor Him, provide for your needs, and allow you to steward your time and health well. Whether you stay in your current positions or move to new ones, may the Lord grant you favor with your coworkers and supervisors, and may He bring resolution to any issues you face at work.

For your health and the health of your family, we pray for complete healing from the flu. May the Lord restore strength to your father and protect those who are caring for you from becoming ill themselves. We also lift up your cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them healthy. The Lord cares for all His creation, and we trust Him to provide for their needs, even when resources seem scarce. We pray that you would find a trustworthy vet in your area and that the Lord would make a way for you to care for your pets as you desire.

For your friend battling fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns, and asthma, we pray for divine healing and strength. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we ask that He would touch your friend’s body and bring relief from pain and restoration to his health. May he experience the peace of God in the midst of his struggles.

We also pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings. May the Lord raise up faithful teachers and shepherds who will lead His people into truth and freedom. We pray that the light of the gospel would shine brightly, exposing deception and drawing hearts to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Finally, we pray for discipline in your eating habits, that you would honor the Lord with your body and steward your health well. May the Lord give you the strength to follow the diet your medical condition requires and grant you wisdom in caring for yourself.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every struggle, every tear, and every burden. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of spiritual warfare that have oppressed him/her for so long. Silence the enemy’s lies and fill his/her mind with Your truth. Replace disturbing dreams with Your peace and presence. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and temptation and ask that You would set him/her free from sexual sin. Strengthen him/her to resist the devil and flee from temptation. Lord, we pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Heal our brother/sister from depression, from the flu, and from every ailment. Heal his/her family and protect those who are caring for them. We ask for Your provision in every area of life: for jobs that honor You, for financial stability, for wisdom in decision-making, and for the care of his/her pets. Father, we pray for his/her friend, that You would bring healing and comfort. We also pray for the African American community, that You would expose false teachings and draw hearts to the truth of Your Word. Lord, we ask that You would order his/her days and give him/her rest. Help him/her to prioritize time with You and to walk in the discipline that honors You. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, hope, and love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
