Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your peace in the name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams you endure are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit to flee from you now, for the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

The overwhelming weight of constant demands and spiritual attacks is not your portion. Jesus invites you to come to Him when you are weary and heavy-laden, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). We pray for divine intervention in your schedule, may the Lord order your steps and grant you wisdom to prioritize what truly matters. Your nights should not be stolen by late hours; we ask the Lord to establish a rhythm of rest and peace for you, that you may rise refreshed and strengthened.

Regarding your job situation, we pray for clarity and wisdom. If it is the Lord’s will for you to stay in your current positions, we ask Him to remove every frustration and conflict, turning the hearts of your coworkers toward unity and kindness. If He is calling you elsewhere, we pray for open doors to new opportunities, perhaps even multiple streams of provision, that align with His purpose for you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The struggle with sexual temptation is not one you face alone. The enemy seeks to exploit your weakness, but God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We rebuke the spirit of lust and shame in Jesus’ name. You are not defined by your failures, but by the blood of Christ that cleanses you from all sin (1 John 1:7). Confess your struggles to the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for accountability and godly fellowship to help you walk in purity, for it is written, “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:18). Do not despair, God has set you free before, and He will do it again. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Your concern for the African American community is heard. We pray that the eyes of many would be opened to the truth of God’s Word, that they would no longer be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, but would grow in the knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 4:14). May the Lord raise up faithful teachers who proclaim the unadulterated truth of the Gospel.

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and restoration. May the Lord protect those caring for the sick, that they would not grow weary or fall ill themselves. We declare over your father that his cough would cease, and his strength would be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). For your precious cats, we ask the Lord, who cares even for the sparrows, to watch over them and keep them healthy. May He provide a way for their needs to be met, even as you trust Him for provision.

Your discipline in eating according to your medical needs is commendable. We pray that the Lord would strengthen your resolve and grant you grace in moments of weakness. May your body be a temple of the Holy Spirit, and may you honor God with it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting every burden and every cry of their heart. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask You to break every chain of spiritual warfare that has oppressed them for so long. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and shame that has sought to entangle them. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and renew their mind with Your truth. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Surround them with godly accountability and fill their heart with a desire for purity.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their work life. Provide clarity, favor, and open doors where You would have them walk. Remove every frustration and conflict, and let Your peace reign in their workplace. If it is Your will, grant them the ability to secure additional employment to meet their needs.

For their family, we pray for complete healing from the flu. Strengthen their father and protect those caring for the sick. For their beloved pets, we ask for Your healing touch and provision. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You.

Father, we ask for discipline and strength as they adhere to their medical diet. Help them to honor You with their body, and grant them grace in every moment of weakness.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would draw near to You, and You would draw near to them (James 4:8). Let them find their rest, their strength, and their identity in You alone. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re sitting with you as we read through this, and we want you to know you’re not alone in the pile-up, physical, spiritual, emotional. When you’re already exhausted, it’s no surprise that old sins feel magnetic and shame shouts louder. But God’s love for you isn’t fragile; it meets you in the mess, not after you’ve cleaned yourself up.

One thing that may help right now is to tell one safe, mature Christian in person about what’s happening with the sexual thoughts. Secrecy is oxygen to shame, and even a single honest conversation can deflate its power. If that feels too big, maybe start with one small boundary at bedtime, putting your phone in another room, or praying aloud for a few minutes before you close your eyes. That shift can create space for rest instead of escape, and over time it weakens the pattern.

With the jobs and schedule, we know it’s overwhelming when every five seconds someone needs something. It’s okay to ask God for a sustainable rhythm and the courage to protect some quiet time, even if just a few minutes. And please have a doctor check your ###’s cough, when someone gets better and then worsens, it’s wise to rule out anything deeper.

Jesus, we ask for this one’s relief. Silence the enemy’s assault and give them peaceful sleep free of disturbing dreams. Hold steady their mind and body as they fight depression and unwanted thoughts. We ask for wisdom about work, for provision so the cats can get care, and for healing through their whole household. Most of all, let them feel clean and fully known by You, forgiven, beloved, and not alone. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Nevertheless, when once we grow despondent, this is our temptation and it will be well to bit and bridle both mind and tongue lest we fall into the evil. Frequently when a man speaks in haste, his expressions are the result of his temper. They have come from me in serious pain and depression of spirit and now I pray the Lord, in His great mercy, to look at them as though I had never thought them, for I do heartily abhor them and I loathe myself in His sight that I should ever have questioned His tender love and gracious care.

But there is one temptation which exceeds all others, there is one suggestion which is more Satanic, more skilfully used in effecting the purposes of Satan than any other. Whenever we have fallen into any sin, have been overtaken by some sudden wind of temptation, and have staggered and almost fallen, Conscience pricks us and tells us we have done wrong. Go speak to the winds, spread your griefs to the pitiless sea, for God’s ear is shut, and he will never move his arm to work deliverance for thee. Now, am I not justified in saying that this arrow is very often shot. Let the Christian know that his God is with him, and temptation will have little power, but when God has forsaken us, as we think that he has, ah! then, when Satan offers us some back door by which to escape from our troubles, how very easily shall we be tempted to adopt his expedients.

Often, during the day, when I had a little time for quiet meditation, a great depression of spirit would come upon me because I felt that sin, sin, SIN had outlawed me from my God! The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities! Does not this Truth of God make your mouths water, you who feel that you are going down to the Pit? The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of my deliverance, for the time had come! Thus had the eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed it! Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit of Hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it! Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom."

Egypt may very fairly represent those states of sorrow and sadness, depression and oppression, into which God's people come far too frequently. It is possible to go down into Egypt by reason of our own depression of spirit, inward conflict and despondency. Therefore, He makes their deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings them forth. This deliverance came when the lamb was slain. Be more earnest after the heavenly silver and gold than about hurrying away from the scene of conflict and temptation. Our deliverance is accompanied with health and strength, "There was not one feeble person among their tribes."

The next thought is, never go into temptation. The man who prays "Lead us not into temptation," and then goes into it, is a liar before God! People go to Church and say, "Lead us not into temptation," and then they know where temptation is to be found and they go straight to it! You need not ask the Lord not to lead you there, He has nothing to do with you! Oh, save me from the mischief of the temptation. Let me have the temptation if so it must be, but oh, let it do me no hurt. Let me not stain my garments. Let me not slip nor slide, but may I stand fast at the end of the day.

Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin! Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. And if I can sometimes go into sin, just occasionally by way of pleasure, it proves that I am a stranger to the deliverance which Jesus Christ gives to His really called and regenerated people! And now the last inference is a hopeful inference.

The believer's conduct after his afflictions and after his deliverance from them, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." But I do find that life and health often come to saints through briny tears, through the bruising of the flesh and the oppression of the spirit. And, moreover, I have met with so many Christians who, in the time of trouble, have received amazing warnings, or sweet assurances of coming deliverance, that I am bound to believe that the Lord does, sometimes, whisper to the heart of His children and assure them in trial that they shall not be crushed. Here is declaration. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? Such persons despise the afflicted and suspect the character of the choicest of men for lack of power to understand them. What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach?
