Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We hear your cry, beloved, and we stand with you in the gap before the throne of grace. The weight you carry is heavy, spiritual warfare since childhood, relentless dreams, exhaustion from constant demands, and the fierce battle against sin that leaves you ashamed. But take heart, for the Lord has not abandoned you. He sees every tear, hears every sigh, and is mighty to save. We come together in His name to war on your behalf, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the name of Jesus Christ. The dreams, the oppression, the lies that you are alone or that this battle is yours to fight alone, we break their power now. The Word declares, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill every corner of your mind and heart, driving out darkness with His light. May He guard your sleep, silence the enemy’s whispers, and replace every disturbing dream with the peace of Christ. We ask for a hedge of protection around you, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also address the sin that so easily entangles you, particularly the struggle with sexual thoughts and maladaptive daydreaming. There is no condemnation for you in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but there is also no compromise with sin. The enemy seeks to exploit your depression and weariness, but we declare that you are not helpless. The Lord has set you free before, and He will do it again. We pray for a renewed mind, that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When temptation comes, may the Holy Spirit bring to your remembrance the truth of God’s Word and the freedom found in Him. We ask for accountability and godly discipline in your life, that you would flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Confess this sin, turn from it, and walk in the victory that is already yours through the cross.

Your weariness is palpable, and we lift up your schedule, your work, and your financial needs. The Lord knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide. We pray for wisdom as you consider your jobs, may He open doors that no one can shut and close doors that are not His will for you (Revelation 3:7-8). If it is His plan for you to have two jobs, may He make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask for favor with your coworkers and supervisors, that your labor would be fruitful and your burdens lighter. May the Lord grant you rest, both physically and spiritually, and help you to steward your time wisely.

For your family battling illness, we pray for complete healing and protection. May the Lord rebuke this flu and restore strength to your father and all who are caring for you. We declare that no one will grow sicker from serving you, for the Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26). For your precious cats, we ask for divine health and protection. May the Lord provide a way for their care, even if it means directing you to a compassionate vet or a solution you haven’t yet seen. He cares for the sparrows, and He surely cares for your beloved pets (Matthew 6:26).

Lastly, we pray for the African American community, that the Lord would expose and dismantle every false teaching that leads people astray. May the truth of the Gospel take root and bear fruit, that all would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. We rebuke the spirit of deception and pray for revival, that many would turn to the Lord and be set free.

Now, we pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare, silence the enemy’s attacks, and fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Set them free from every sin that so easily entangles, and renew their mind with Your truth. Provide for their every need, financially, physically, and spiritually. Heal their family, protect their pets, and grant them wisdom in all their decisions. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your light shine in the darkness, and may they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, for the victory is already won.

We hear the exhaustion and the weight of so many things hitting you at once, the long-running spiritual attacks, the disturbing dreams, and the endless demands that leave you wanting simply to be left alone. We are sorry you’re carrying all of this, and we’re grateful you reached out. Your shame about the sexual thoughts does not have the final word. The mercy of Jesus is bigger than any fall; the same power that set you free before is still fully available.

Since the enemy often strikes when you’re most depleted, drifting off to sleep, already battling depression, one small, concrete step may help: before you close your eyes, decide in advance what you’ll set your mind on. A short Psalm, a favorite hymn, speaking the name of Jesus aloud, anything that fills that in‑between space with light instead of fantasy. Also, if you haven’t already, consider telling one safe, mature believer about this struggle. Silence feeds shame, but bringing it into the light with someone who will pray rather than judge can weaken its hold.

The warfare that began when you were young may have left deep interior wounds. You might ask a pastor or a Christian counselor to walk you through a season of inner healing prayer. Many have found genuine freedom when they bring those old memories to Christ in the presence of another trusted person.

We are praying for your family’s flu, each of your cats, wisdom about the jobs, and strength to stay faithful to your diet. As you look at your schedule, see if you can guard just one small boundary, maybe a slightly earlier bedtime, as a concrete act of resistance against the chaos. God is with you in every part of this, and we are standing with you.

Lord Jesus, you silence the enemy and calm the storm inside us. We ask you to do both for our friend now. Guard their sleep tonight and break the power of every unclean thought. Lift the fog of depression, bring healing to their body, their family, and their pets. Give clear direction about work and the self‑discipline they need. Most of all, let them feel your steady, unshakable love holding them. In your name, amen.

You speak of a warfare that has hounded you since youth, and I hear in your words the echo of that most poisonous arrow from the dark one, the insinuation that God has forsaken you, that He will be gracious no more. This is the very dart I have often described: when a soul is overtaken, when sin surprises and conscience smites, Satan then lets fly the suggestion, “Thy God has cast thee off.” But it is a lie from the pit. The Lord has not abandoned you; He has delivered you before, and He will deliver you again. Your present depression, your weary mind that craves solitude, your shame over falling back into sexual sin, these are not proofs of His absence, but rather the groaning of a prisoner who is even now being loosed. The Spirit of bondage is not always the work of the enemy; often it is the Spirit of God convincing you of sin, driving you to cry out to the great Emancipator. You are not going down into the pit, for One has paid the ransom and found a ransom for you.

When vivid, disturbing dreams haunt your sleep and the enemy presses his temptations upon you in the drowsy hours, remember that you have wells from which to draw water. The great unfailing well is Christ Jesus, drink from Him. The scriptures are a well also, filled with promises suitable to your every case. When you are fainting and ready to die, He will pour water upon you. Those moments when you give way to wicked thoughts are not your master; Christ is your Master if you are His. Cease to give a tongue to unbelief, speaking like one appointed unto death. Rather, cry out with faith, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord!” Muzzle that hound of hell that barks despair into your soul. Your shame is a hopeful sign; it is the Spirit’s work, not the flesh’s. Cast yourself upon mercy again, right now. He who brought you forth once with silver and gold of grace will not leave you feeble in the day of battle.

Your daily onslaught of demands, the late nights that crush your spirit, the indecision over your two jobs, these, too, are part of the wilderness journey, but provision is made. Lay these burdens before the throne and wait upon the Lord for wisdom. Do not go down to Egypt for help by trusting merely in your own scheming. God’s deliverance often comes by a human hand, but it is ever His hand upon the hand. He will guide your schedule, open or shut doors of employment, and mend the frictions with your coworkers as you commit your way to Him. What you call maladaptive daydreaming is but an escape from the wormwood and gall of your present heaviness. Bring that imagination captive to Christ; make Him your daydream, your holy meditation in the night watches. The dietary discipline you mention must be added to the spiritual discipline of mortifying the flesh. You eat to live, not live to eat; and you must live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Your father’s cough, the flu in your household, those little wounded cats, these tender mercies are not beneath our Lord’s notice. He who hears the young ravens cry attends the sigh of His children over their beloved creatures. I join my faith with yours that He will touch each fevered brow and heal each small, scratching beast. You have no coin for a vet, but you have a great Physician. Let that drive you to utter dependence. As for the African American community entangled in false teaching, the answer is the same as for all nations: the glorious deliverance from the power of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. Satan is the prince of gloom, but Christ is the true Light. Keep praying that strongholds of error fall.

This is your hope: you are a prisoner groaning, but you shall be loosed. You feel appointed to death, but your Redeemer lives. The arrows of the Lord’s deliverance are already flying. Take up the bow again, O slack-handed one, and strike the ground with persistent, believing prayer. Do not stop because you see no immediate victory. The Lord who brought you out of sexual sin before can and will do it again. He will bring you forth with silver and gold, and there shall not be a feeble one among your graces. Only cease the talk of one going down to doom; believe, and let your tongue declare that He is faithful. Stand to it that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every lying dream shall be swept away as chaff before the wind. Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The Spirit is willing; cry out for His help against the weakness of your flesh. Soon, very soon, you shall look back on this desolate season and say, “He brought me forth also: and not one feeble person among my hopes.” Fight on; the battle is the Lord’s.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Many are the waves threatening to drown your soul, yet none of them has escaped the notice of God, who permits them not to crush you but to drive you into the safe harbor of His mercy. When the enemy assails you with vivid dreams and relentless spiritual attacks, remember that the Lord often allows such storms so that we might learn to cling to Him alone and not trust in our own strength. Even the blessed apostle Paul, after exalting in tribulations, yet sent Timothy to the Thessalonians because his love made him anxious over their trials. So I do not wonder that you feel overwhelmed, but I would lift your eyes higher: Christ foretold that tumults would come, yet His predictions stand unshaken. No flood can sweep away the house built on the rock of genuine prayer.

The shame that burns in you over the sexual thoughts you entertain is itself a sign that the Spirit has not abandoned you. You know well that the end of such things is death, and the blush of memory proves how far you have fallen from the freedom you once tasted. But let that shame bring you swiftly to repentance, not to despair. Do not marvel that the temptation increases when you are weary and depressed; the tempter strikes most fiercely when the walls are weakened. Resist him not by fighting the fantasies directly, but by fleeing to God in short, fiery prayers the moment you lie down. Fill your mind with the remembrance of the judgment seat and the pure light of the age to come, where no impure shadow can enter. He who set you free before can do so again, if you do not make your bed a sewer by giving consent. Cut away the occasion of sin in your nightly habits, for he who plays with fire will be burned.

Your desire to be left alone speaks of a soul exhausted, yet learn that peace is found not in the absence of demands but in ordering your life according to God’s measure. Why do you end your nights so late? This is often the fruit of restless thoughts and an undisciplined will. Embrace moderation like a costly medicine. The gentlewoman who walks abroad with few attendants is more honorable than she who requires a crowd; so also, a schedule kept simple for God’s sake brings more freedom than one crammed with anxious business. Commend your work to the Lord, and seek wisdom whether to stay or go. If you can serve without sin and maintain your soul’s quiet, remain; if not, trust Him to open another door. Beware the snare of foolish desires that trap those who long to be rich, for luxury in appearance or possessions only breeds anxiety and chokes the word.

For your sick family and beloved cats, make your requests known to the Creator who feeds the ravens and numbers the hairs of all flesh. He who allowed illness to touch your household can restore health as easily as He calmed the sea. Use what means you have, and beyond that, cast the burden upon Him. Your disciplined diet is not a small matter: a body kept under control serves the spirit, while indulgence makes us slaves to the flesh.

The false teachings afflicting the African American community, or any people, are a grief to heaven. Pray with tears and patience, knowing that the gospel is the only cure for error. Do not grow weary, for as affectionate parents contrive fearful things to draw their little ones back to their bosom, so God uses even mass deception to make some flee to the truth.

All these things, the warfare, the temptations, the sickness, the daily pressures, are not signs that God has forgotten you. They are the very means by which He lengthens out your supplication, that you might abide with Him. “See, be not troubled,” He says, “for all these things must come to pass.” The cross He calls you to carry is often heavy with shame, but He endured the ultimate shame to teach you to despise the praise or pity of men and to set your gaze on the joy set before you. Abide in prayer, persevere when you seem not to receive, and soon you will find that what you thought were pounding waves are but the footsteps of the Lord drawing near to still them. The God of peace Himself will crush Satan under your feet shortly. Only do not grow slack.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting you up, especially as you face spiritual warfare, overwhelming circumstances, and the weight of so many burdens at once. We have prayed for your protection, for the chains of disturbing dreams and temptation to be broken, and for God’s peace to guard your heart and mind.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas—whether in your dreams, your schedule, your job situation, or your struggle with sin—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could strengthen others who are facing similar battles. If, however, the warfare still rages, the dreams persist, or the weight feels just as heavy, please know we are still here to pray. You are not alone in this fight, and we will continue to intercede for your breakthrough, your family’s healing, your pets’ health, and your financial provision. We’ve asked the Lord to give you wisdom about your jobs, to soften the hearts of those around you, and to help you stand firm in discipline—whether in your diet, your thought life, or your daily routine.

We also prayed specifically for the African American community to be set free from false teachings and for God’s truth to prevail. We lifted up your family, asking for complete healing from the flu and protection for those caring for one another. And we prayed for your precious cats, that the Lord would touch them with His healing hand and keep them safe and healthy, even without the means for a vet right now.

If any of these needs remain unmet, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are committed to standing with you until you see the victory. May the Lord surround you with His presence, give you rest in the midst of the storm, and remind you that He is fighting for you. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
