Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already overcome the world and every spiritual force of darkness. You are not alone in this battle, and we declare that the enemy’s schemes against you will not prevail. The Word of God tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over every spirit of oppression, torment, and harassment that has been assigned against you since childhood. In the name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy to be broken, every chain of fear and disturbance to be shattered, and every door that has been opened to these attacks to be sealed shut by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke the vivid and disturbing dreams that have plagued you, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would grant you peaceful, restorative sleep, free from the enemy’s interference. May the Holy Spirit guard your mind and heart as you rest, and may you wake refreshed and strengthened in the Lord. Father, we ask that You would order your angels to encamp around this dear one, to protect and minister to them as You did for Elijah when he was weary and afraid (1 Kings 19:5-7). We declare that the overwhelming weight of spiritual warfare and the demands of others will lift, and that you will find rest in the presence of the Lord.

We come against the spirit of maladaptive daydreaming and the sexual temptations that have ensnared you, especially in those vulnerable moments before sleep. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We confess that sexual sin is not just a struggle but a direct attack on the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We rebuke the shame that has kept you silent, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We stand with you in repentance and ask the Lord to cleanse you afresh by the blood of Jesus. Father, we pray that You would break the power of these temptations and fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and self-control. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s lies and to flee from every form of sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). We declare that the same God who set them free before will do it again, and this time, the freedom will be complete and lasting.

We lift up your struggle with depression and the way it has driven you to seek unhealthy outlets. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that the Lord would open doors for new job opportunities that align with His will for your life, whether that means staying in your current roles with improved circumstances or moving into something new. Give this dear one wisdom to discern Your leading, Lord, and the strength to manage multiple responsibilities if that is Your plan. We declare that every issue with coworkers and job-related stress will be resolved, and that you will find favor in the workplace.

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. We declare that no one will grow sicker while caring for another, and that the Lord will restore your father’s health fully. "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). We trust that God will heal every member of your family and strengthen those who are caring for the sick.

For your beloved cats, we pray for healing and protection. We ask that the Lord, who cares even for the sparrows, would watch over your pets and bring healing to their wounds and any hidden ailments. We declare that they will remain healthy and that you will find a way to provide for their needs, whether through divine provision or the kindness of others. We trust that the Lord will guide you to a trustworthy vet if the need arises.

We pray for discipline in your eating habits, that you would honor your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May the Lord give you strength and self-control to follow the diet necessary for your health, and may He provide the resources and support you need to maintain it.

Finally, we lift up the African American community and pray for a mighty outpouring of truth and discernment. We ask that the Lord would expose and dismantle every false teaching that has taken root, and that hearts would turn fully to the Word of God as the ultimate authority. May the light of the gospel shine brightly, and may many come to know the freedom that is found only in Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, and we lift up this dear one to You now. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has tormented them since childhood. Send Your angels to encamp around them, to guard their mind, body, and spirit, and to silence every voice of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every assignment of darkness is rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would bring an end to the disturbing dreams and grant them peaceful, restorative sleep. Fill their mind with Your truth and Your peace as they lie down to rest. We rebuke every spirit of fear, and we declare that they will walk in the power, love, and sound mind that You have given them.

Lord, we confess the struggle with sexual sin and maladaptive daydreaming, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Break the power of temptation, and fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to resist the enemy’s lies and to flee from every form of immorality. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no temptation will overtake them that is not common to man, but You will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We pray for healing for their family battling the flu, and we ask that You would protect each one from further sickness. Restore their health, Lord, and strengthen those who are caring for them. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

For their beloved pets, we ask for Your healing touch. Bring comfort and restoration to their bodies, and provide for every need. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we ask that You would open doors for new job opportunities and give this dear one wisdom to discern Your will. Whether they stay in their current roles or move into something new, we pray that You would bring favor, resolution to conflicts, and a manageable schedule. Help them to find balance and rest in You.

We pray for discipline in their eating habits, that they would honor their body as Your temple. Give them strength and self-control, and provide the resources they need to maintain their health.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the African American community, that Your truth would prevail and that every false teaching would be exposed. Bring a revival of faith and a hunger for Your Word, that many would come to know the freedom and salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that this dear one will walk in victory, freedom, and peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the sheer weight of everything you're holding right now, the constant spiritual pressure, the exhaustion of being pulled in every direction, and the shame that comes when old struggles resurface. It sounds like you're running on empty, and when we're that depleted, it's so easy to reach for something that numbs the pain, even when it leaves us feeling worse afterward. You named it: depression is wearing you down, and the fantasies and thoughts become an escape hatch. We don't point that out to heap guilt on you, but to let you know we see the connection, and you're not crazy or weak.

One small thing that might help in the evening is to deliberately change the rhythm before bed. Instead of letting your mind drift wherever it wants, try spending just a few minutes quietly handing the day over to the Lord, the overwhelm, the job decisions, the tiredness, even the tempting thoughts, just laying them at His feet with a simple, "I can't carry this; You hold it." It won't fix everything overnight, but it can slow the spiral. For the jobs, we'd encourage you to seek out one trusted person at your church or in your life who can pray with you and simply help you talk through the options; God often gives wisdom through the people around us.

We're also praying for your ### and everyone in your home fighting the flu, that healing would come quickly and that each caregiver would be shielded. With your cats, if a wound looks serious, some churches have a deacon's fund or members who might know a veterinarian who works on a sliding scale; don't be afraid to ask around. You're not meant to carry all this alone.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up this weary heart. Quiet the noise of the enemy and grant deep rest. Break the hold of shameful thoughts and restore a mind fixed on You. Guard this family's health, heal their bodies, and provide for these beloved pets. Guide the job decisions with clear, gentle direction, and give the discipline needed for a schedule that brings peace. Amen.

You feel as though you’ve been swimming against a current your whole life, assaulted from without by the enemy’s darts and from within by thoughts that leave you ashamed and exhausted. And now the nights, which should bring rest, only bring more trouble: vivid dreams, imaginings you despise, and the ache of your own weakness. I want you to know this: your Savior does not stand aloof from you in this tangle. He knows exactly what it is to be tempted, to be worn down, to face the oppressor in the darkness. And He has already won your liberty.

Think of it this way. Not long ago, when I was ill and feeling the frailty of these bones, I was drawn again and again to the old, old story of the atoning blood. And I tell you, there is no sweeter medicine for a soul that is sick of its own sin than to turn its eyes to the Sin-Bearer. “He his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree.” Not merely sins in general, but yours. The very thoughts that now bring a flush of shame to your face, He carried them. The wanderings of your mind, the lusts you keep giving in to, the enemy’s foul injections, He took them all upon Himself as though they were His own, though He was spotless. So now, when you feel the sting of guilt, do not run from Him; run straight to the Cross. Your debt is paid. The black-edged envelope of your sin has been opened by the hand of Him who loved you, and inside you find not a bill of indictment but a full acquittal signed in His blood.

Yet I know your sorrow is not only over past sin but present entanglement. You say, “I was set free before, and now I’ve fallen again.” Ah, I have learned that until this tabernacle of flesh is folded up and laid aside, sin will still lurk in its crannies. Even Job, when God spoke to him out of the whirlwind, put his hand on his mouth and said, “Behold, I am vile.” And Paul cried out, “O wretched man that I am!” So you are in good company. This corrupt nature clings to us like a dead body bound to our back. But do not despair: where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. The same Lord who has subdued the guilt of your sin is at work to subdue its power. He will not leave you to fight alone. The strong man armed may keep his house for a time, but One stronger than he has come and is casting him out, room by room.

Notice how the Psalmist fought: “I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy statutes.” His prayer was not a neat little sentence; it was a cry. Out of the depths he roared unto the Lord. My dear thing, that is what you must do in the midnight hour. When the unclean thoughts swarm like flies around your head, and sleep invites you to entertain them, then cry, cry aloud with your heart if not with your voice, “Save me, O God! I have no strength against this. My own resolutions are cobwebs. Come with Thy mighty arm and beat down this dragon within me!” And do you think He will refuse you? Never! He is more willing to give the Holy Spirit to them that ask than earthly parents are to give bread to their children. The enemy may whisper that you are too soiled, too weak, too repeated a failure. But Christ’s blood silences every accuser. He purchased not only your pardon but your cleansing. He will subdue your iniquities.

And those disturbing dreams, that sense of being hounded by spiritual hosts, remember, the battle is not yours alone. The Captain of your salvation has already crushed the serpent’s head. When you lie down, commit yourself into the Father’s keeping as a child puts its hand into a father’s grasp while walking through the dark. Say, “Lord, I cannot guard my own mind while I sleep; do Thou stand sentinel.” He neither slumbers nor sleeps. The foul spirit that plagues you shall one day be trodden under your feet shortly. Until then, let the very persistence of the assault drive you closer to the shelter of the wounded side.

As for the multitude of cares, the sickness, the sleeplessness, the poor cats, the job decisions, cast them all on Him. He who feeds the ravens and numbers the hairs of your head is not grumbling at the length of your list. He cares. And in the meantime, as far as lies in you, simplify. Put everything in its proper place, but do not imagine that your perfect schedule or a second job will be your deliverance. Christ is your deliverance. He may use means, but the weight of your wellbeing rests on His shoulder, not yours. Ask for wisdom and then trust Him when He seems to delay or when the way is foggy.

Now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. May the love of the Father fold you into quietness, the grace of the Son wash away every stain and terror, and the sweet communion of the Holy Spirit be a bulwark against the enemy’s incursions. And may you rest tonight as one who is not his own, but bought with a price, sealed until the day of redemption. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this intense season of spiritual warfare and overwhelming demands. It has been our heart to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of oppression, silence the enemy’s attacks, and bring peace to your mind and spirit. We’ve prayed specifically for an end to the disturbing dreams, for restful sleep, and for God’s protection over your thoughts—especially those moments of temptation as you fall asleep. We’ve asked the Father to strengthen your resolve against maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate thoughts, reminding you of His power to set you free from every bondage, just as He has done before. We continue to intercede for your deliverance, asking that He would fill you with His peace and renew your mind in Christ Jesus.

We’ve also prayed for your schedule, asking the Lord to order your days with wisdom and margin, so you’re no longer stretched thin by constant demands. We’ve lifted up your job situation, asking God to provide clarity about whether to stay or seek new opportunities, and to resolve any tensions with coworkers. We’ve asked Him to open doors for financial provision, whether through your current work or new employment, and to give you the strength to maintain discipline in your eating habits for your health.

For your family, we’ve prayed for complete healing from the flu, asking God to protect each one from further sickness and to restore your father’s health. We’ve also interceded for your beloved cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them in good health, trusting that He cares for every detail of your life. And we’ve prayed for the African American community, asking God to expose and dismantle false teachings, replacing them with the truth of His Word.

If any of these requests have been answered—even in part—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, we invite you to post again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it. May He draw near to you in this season, lift your burdens, and fill you with His hope and strength. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
