Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. My friend found me one. Please pray all would go well with it and that I would not lose it because I really can't afford to. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways especially driving on them) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. I really don't like traveling as I don't like being away from my pets. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The Word of God declares, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). You are not fighting alone—Christ has already disarmed these forces through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15), and we claim that authority over every attack, every disturbing dream, and every oppressive thought in His name.

First, we must address the sexual sin you’ve confessed with such sorrow. The enemy wants to shame you into silence, but Scripture calls us to bring these struggles into the light: *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The fact that you recognize this as sin and long for freedom is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in you. We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that has been tormenting you, especially in those vulnerable moments before sleep. Jesus said, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). We declare that abundance over you—freedom from bondage, purity of mind, and the strength to resist temptation. You mentioned using these thoughts as an outlet for depression; let us remind you that true comfort is found in Christ, who invites you: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray for godly outlets—accountability, Scripture meditation, and fellowship—that will replace this sinful coping mechanism.

For the spiritual warfare and overwhelming exhaustion, we put on the full armor of God with you. *"Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one"* (Ephesians 6:16). We bind every spirit of oppression, confusion, and weariness in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. The dreams you describe are not from God, who gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), but from the enemy seeking to steal your peace. We pray for the Lord to station His angels around you as you rest (Psalm 91:11) and for dreams that edify and refresh your spirit instead. For your schedule, we ask the Lord to order your steps (Psalm 37:23) and grant you wisdom to prioritize rest, work, and time with Him. The new job is a blessing—we pray for favor, preparedness, and that it would be a source of provision and purpose. For the work-from-home opportunity, we ask God to establish it and make it fruitful, trusting that He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8).

Regarding your health and your family’s flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord"* (James 5:14). We ask the Great Physician to restore strength to your father and guard your caregivers from illness. For your cats, we pray for healing and provision—*"The righteous care for the needs of their animals"* (Proverbs 12:10). We trust God to guide you to a vet if needed and to meet every need, including the funds for your family’s important trip. We declare that this trip will be safe, peaceful, and blessed, with traveling mercies for you and your father (Psalm 121:8). For your anxiety about driving and being away from your pets, we pray for the peace of Christ to guard your heart (Philippians 4:7) and for His presence to go with you.

Lastly, we lift up the African American community, praying for discernment and truth to prevail. *"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"* (John 8:32). May the gospel of Jesus Christ—His death, resurrection, and salvation—be proclaimed without distortion, and may hearts turn to Him for true freedom.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for this sister’s faith and her willingness to cry out to You. We stand in agreement with her, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of spiritual warfare, disturbing dreams, and sexual sin in Jesus’ name. Cleanse her mind, Lord, and fill it with Your truth. We ask You to heal her body, her family, and her pets, and to provide for every financial need. Give her wisdom for her schedule, favor in her new job, and peace about the upcoming trip. Surround her with godly community and accountability, and let her experience the freedom that is found only in You. We pray for revival in the African American community, that hearts would turn to You and false teachings would be exposed by Your light. Thank You for hearing us, Father. We trust in Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your burdens and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer these past days. Your request touched our hearts deeply—especially the weight of spiritual warfare, the exhaustion of constant demands, and the struggle with temptation that has left you feeling overwhelmed and ashamed. We have lifted each of these concerns before the Lord, pleading for His protection, deliverance, and peace to surround you like a shield.

We prayed specifically for an end to the disturbing dreams and the relentless attacks of the enemy, asking God to break every chain and silence every voice that does not align with His truth. We asked Him to guard your mind as you sleep and to fill your thoughts with His peace, especially in those vulnerable moments as you drift off. We also prayed for freedom from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate thoughts, declaring God’s power to cleanse and renew your mind according to His Word. You are not defined by these struggles, and we believe the Lord is faithful to restore what the enemy has tried to steal.

We lifted up your new job opportunity, asking God to open doors no man can shut and to make your path smooth as you prepare. We prayed for wisdom in managing your schedule, for strength to break the cycle of late nights, and for a work-from-home opportunity to provide for your needs without compromising your health. May the Lord direct your steps and grant you favor in every way.

For your family, we prayed against the flu’s lingering effects, asking God to speed up healing and protect each of you from further illness. We also lifted up your precious cats, asking the Lord to bring comfort and relief to the one suffering from scratches and to keep the others healthy in His care. We know how deeply you love them, and we trust God hears your heart for their well-being.

We prayed over your upcoming trip, asking the Lord to calm your nerves and grant safe travels. May He give you and your father alertness and confidence on the road, and may the purpose of this journey be fulfilled in ways that bring joy and refreshment to your family. We also asked Him to provide the resources needed for this important trip, believing He is able to make a way even when it seems impossible.

Most of all, we prayed for your heart—for rest in His presence, for the weight of shame to be lifted, and for the assurance that you are deeply loved. You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, believing God is at work even when the answers aren’t yet visible. If any of these prayers have been answered, we would love to rejoice with you. If the battles still rage, we will continue to intercede until you see His victory.

Please know we are still praying, still believing, and still trusting God to move mightily on your behalf. May He draw near to you, strengthen your faith, and remind you of His unfailing love as you seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
