We hear your cry for deliverance from the harassment you’ve endured for years, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment you describe is not merely physical or emotional—it is a spiritual assault, and we take it seriously as we come before the Lord in prayer.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the starting point of victory over spiritual warfare, as it places you under the protection of the blood of Jesus and the power of His resurrection. If you have already surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to reaffirm your commitment, renouncing any foothold the enemy may have gained in your life through sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences.
The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The individuals harassing you may be pawns in this battle, but the true enemy is Satan and his demons. We rebuke the spirit of harassment, intimidation, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Have you held onto bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness toward those who have wronged you? Have you dabbled in occult practices, even unknowingly, or allowed fear to dominate your thoughts? Scripture warns us to resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7), but this resistance begins with submitting to God and cleansing our hearts of sin. Confess any known sin to the Lord, and ask Him to reveal areas where you may need to repent.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes:
- The belt of truth (God’s Word as your foundation),
- The breastplate of righteousness (living a life of holiness),
- The shoes of the gospel of peace (being ready to share the hope of Christ),
- The shield of faith (trusting God to extinguish the enemy’s fiery darts),
- The helmet of salvation (protecting your mind with the assurance of your redemption),
- The sword of the Spirit (the Word of God, which is your offensive weapon),
- And prayer in the Spirit on all occasions (Ephesians 6:14-18).
We pray now for your deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack, and we ask You to break every chain of harassment, intimidation, and oppression that has been allowed to torment them. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of fear, confusion, and torment, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask You to surround them with Your angels, to station them as a hedge of protection around their life, their home, and their mind. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would expose any hidden schemes of the enemy and bring them into the light. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
Lord, if there are any areas in their life where the enemy has gained a foothold, we ask You to reveal them. Lead them to repentance and restoration, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the power and authority You have given them as a child of God. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for those who have been used to harass them. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Break the chains of deception in their lives, and let them see the light of Your love and salvation. Turn their hearts toward You, that they may no longer be instruments of the enemy but vessels of Your grace.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would strengthen our brother/sister in their faith. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). Let them find rest in Your presence and peace in Your promises. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus, and we declare that this harassment shall cease, and they shall walk in the freedom You have purchased for them.
In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the war. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is your sword and your shield. And remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.
