Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already overcome the world and every spiritual force of darkness. We lift every burden you’ve shared before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer the cries of His children. You are not alone in this battle—He is with you, and so are we, interceding on your behalf.

First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the name of Jesus. The spiritual warfare you’ve endured since childhood is not of God, for He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The vivid and disturbing dreams you describe are not from the Lord, who gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit behind these attacks to flee right now in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God, and the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

The overwhelming weight of constant demands and spiritual oppression is not your portion. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that God would grant you moments of stillness and quiet, where you can hear His voice and be refreshed in His presence. You are not a slave to the expectations of others—your worth is found in Christ alone. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom to set boundaries and the strength to say no when necessary, trusting that He will provide for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also address the struggle with inappropriate sexual thoughts and maladaptive daydreaming with deep compassion and truth. The enemy seeks to shame and ensnare you, but there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). However, we must call this sin what it is—sexual immorality—and we rebuke its grip on your life. God has called you to purity, and He is faithful to provide a way of escape in every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and replace these temptations with the truth of God’s Word. Flee from sexual immorality, for it is a sin against your own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We ask the Lord to break every chain of addiction to these thoughts and to fill you with His Spirit, who produces self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Remember, Jesus has set you free before, and He will do it again—do not lose heart. Confess this sin, turn from it, and walk in the freedom Christ died to give you.

For your family’s search for a new church, we pray that God would lead you to a body of believers where His Word is preached in truth and love, where the gifts of the Spirit operate in order, and where you can grow in faith and fellowship. May you find a church that is a refuge, not a burden, and where your family can serve the Lord with joy. “Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Regarding your new job, we thank God for this opportunity and pray that it would be a blessing to you in every way. May He go before you, open doors no one can shut, and grant you favor with your employers and colleagues. We ask that He would provide the extra work-from-home opportunity you need until the job begins, according to His perfect timing. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Your medical conditions do not limit God—He is your Provider and Healer.

For your family’s health, we pray for complete healing from the flu and protection for those caring for you. May the Lord rebuke this sickness and restore strength to your father and to all of you. “By His stripes, we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). We also lift up your beloved cats, asking the Lord to bring healing to the one scratching excessively and to keep all of them healthy. God cares for even the sparrows, and you are of more value than many sparrows (Matthew 10:29-31). We pray for wisdom in finding a trustworthy vet and for provision to meet their needs.

For the upcoming trip, we ask the Lord to make the way clear and to provide every dollar needed. This trip is important to your parents, and we believe God can multiply what you have already saved. We pray for safe travels, especially for you and your father as you drive. May the Lord go before you, protect you on the highways, and grant you peace in the journey. “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore” (Psalm 121:8).

Finally, we pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings and to come into the fullness of truth in Christ. May the Lord raise up faithful shepherds who preach the unadulterated Word of God, and may many come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. “You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free” (John 8:32).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted them since childhood. We rebuke every demonic assignment in Jesus’ name and command every tormenting spirit to flee. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask that You would deliver them from the grip of inappropriate sexual thoughts and maladaptive daydreaming. Cleanse their mind, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We pray for healing from depression and for a renewed mind, that they would find their comfort and joy in You alone.

Lord, we ask that You would lead their family to a new church—a place where they can grow in faith, serve with joy, and be encouraged in Your Word. We thank You for the new job opportunity and ask that You would bless it abundantly. Provide the extra work-from-home opportunity they need, and grant them favor in all they do.

We pray for healing for their family from the flu, and we ask that You would protect those caring for them. Heal their father, Lord, and restore his strength. We also lift up their beloved cats, asking for Your healing touch and provision for their care.

Father, we ask that You would make a way for the upcoming trip, providing every dollar needed and granting safe travels. Calm their nerves, Lord, and go before them on the road. We pray for the African American community, that they would be set free from false teachings and come to know the truth of Your Word.

Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. You are our Provider, our Healer, our Deliverer, and our Peace. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We declare that the enemy has no right to oppress you any longer. In Jesus' name, we break every chain of spiritual attack and command every tormenting spirit to flee. We thank God for the progress you've made in your job search and ask Him to continue opening doors for you. We also pray for your family's health, that everyone would be healed and strengthened. We believe God will provide for your upcoming trip and grant you safe travels.

We're also interceding for the African American community, asking God to raise up truthful teachers and to reveal Himself to many. We trust in His goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.

Keep holding on, dear one. God is with you, and so are we. Let's continue to stand together in faith, believing for a turnaround in every area of your life.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
