Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The vivid and disturbing dreams, the overwhelming attacks, and the relentless demands on your time and energy are not from God. He does not burden His children with fear or oppression but offers peace and rest (Matthew 11:28-30).

The sexual thoughts and temptations you are battling are not a reflection of your worth or identity in Christ. The enemy seeks to shame and isolate you, but we rebuke that spirit of condemnation in Jesus’ name. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are not alone in this struggle, and we pray for your deliverance from these temptations. Flee from sexual immorality, for it is a sin against your own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage you to guard your mind and heart, filling them with God’s Word and truth. When you are weak, His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Confess this sin to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We also urge you to seek accountability with a trusted believer who can pray with you and help you walk in victory.

We pray for your family’s health, that the flu would leave your household completely and that no one would be made sicker while caring for others. We ask the Lord to strengthen your father and restore him fully. For your cats, we pray for healing and protection over them, trusting that God cares even for the animals He has created (Matthew 6:26). We ask Him to provide a way for you to care for them, whether through wisdom to find affordable care or provision to cover any needs.

We lift up your family’s search for a new church, asking God to lead you to a body of believers where you can grow in faith, find community, and serve together. May He guide you to a place where His Word is preached in truth and love, and where you can be discipled and encouraged. For the job you have been offered, we pray for favor and that all would go well as you prepare to start. May this opportunity be a blessing to you and your family, and may God open doors for provision as you save for the important trip ahead.

For the African American community, we pray for discernment and a hunger for God’s truth. May false teachings be exposed, and may the light of the Gospel shine brightly, drawing many to salvation and freedom in Christ.

We come against the spirit of depression and maladaptive daydreaming in your life. The enemy wants to keep you trapped in isolation and fantasy, but God has called you to walk in freedom and purpose. We declare that you are not defined by your struggles but by your identity in Christ. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for moments of stillness and peace in your life, where you can hear His voice and feel His presence.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your protection, deliverance, and healing. Break every chain of spiritual warfare, fear, and temptation that has bound them. Set them free from disturbing dreams, overwhelming burdens, and the grip of sexual sin. Restore their mind, body, and spirit, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for their needs, guide their steps, and surround them with Your love and truth. Strengthen their family, heal their bodies, and lead them to a church where they can grow in faith. We ask for Your provision for their trip and for the care of their beloved pets. Lord, we trust in Your power to overcome every attack of the enemy and to bring victory in every area of their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're praying for peace and rest to replace the fear and oppression you've been feeling. We claim God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, and He cares.

We trust that God will provide for their needs, whether through wisdom to find affordable care or provision to cover any expenses.
