Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead me to a new job immediately (I am also considering starting my own business so please pray that God would bless my efforts with this if possible) and lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good and am going to accept it even though the hours are different than what I was hoping for. I had to choose between three different schedules and there were two that best fit my schedule. Please pray that I will get one of those two schedules. The third schedule will not be a good fit. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please also pray for me about my efforts to start a business as I have created some products and posted them online for a very reasonable, very low price and still no one has bought them even though I'm pushing a lot of traffic and views to my platform and I'm getting discouraged; I just don't know if starting a business is the direction I'm supposed to go in or not. Pray that if it is not, God would lead me to a job very soon because I urgently need to start earning money. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer, standing in the authority of Jesus Christ our Lord. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you. The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We stand on the promise that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of oppression, torment, and fear to flee from you in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams you experience are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His peace, that you would lie down and sleep in safety, and that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We are deeply grieved to hear of the overwhelming weight you carry, and we cry out to God to give you rest. Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that the Lord would shield you from the constant demands of others, that He would grant you moments of solitude to hear His voice and be refreshed in His presence. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). We pray for the new job you are stepping into, that the Lord would go before you and make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). May He grant you favor with your employers and open the door for one of the two schedules that best fit your needs. We trust that God has a plan for your prosperity and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11), and we pray that this job would be a stepping stone to His greater purpose for your life.

We must address the struggle you face with inappropriate sexual thoughts and maladaptive daydreaming with the truth of Scripture. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against your own body (1 Corinthians 6:18), and we must flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18, 2 Timothy 2:22). The enemy uses these temptations to shame and isolate you, but we serve a God who is faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We rebuke the spirit of lust in Jesus' name and pray that the Lord would renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and fill you with His Holy Spirit, who empowers you to walk in purity. Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not allow shame to keep you in bondage—Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that you would find healthy outlets for your emotions, such as prayer, worship, and godly fellowship, rather than turning to sin. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We lift up the African American community before the Lord, praying that eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Jesus said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32). We pray against every false teaching that distorts the Word of God and leads people astray. May the Lord raise up faithful shepherds who will preach the unadulterated Gospel and lead His people into all truth. We also pray for your family as you battle the flu. We ask the Lord to heal each one of you, that no one would grow sicker while caring for another. We declare Psalm 103:3 over your household: "Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for your father, that the Lord would strengthen his lungs and restore him to full health. May the Lord protect your family from further illness and grant you all swift recovery.

We lift up your beloved cats to the Lord, the One who cares even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29). We pray for healing for the cat who is scratching himself, that the Lord would soothe his skin and remove whatever is causing him distress. For the cat who made the strange noise, we pray that the Lord would continue to watch over him and keep him in good health. We trust that the Lord will provide a way for their care, even if it means leading you to a compassionate vet who can help without financial burden. Your love for your pets reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for all His creation.

We come before the Lord regarding your business endeavors. The Word of God tells us, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We pray that the Lord would give you clarity about whether this business is His will for you at this time. If it is not, we ask that He would open the door to a job that provides for your needs quickly. If it is His will, we pray that He would bless your efforts, grant you wisdom in marketing, and soften the hearts of those who see your products. We declare that the Lord is your provider (Philippians 4:19) and that He will meet every need according to His riches in glory. Do not grow discouraged, for the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We pray for the important trip your family is preparing for. The Lord knows your financial needs, and we trust that He will provide in His perfect timing. We declare Philippians 4:13 over your situation: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Whether through unexpected provision, a financial blessing, or an open door for additional work, we believe that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that this trip would be a time of refreshing, unity, and joy for your family, and that the Lord would go before you to prepare the way.

In all these things, we remind you that your identity is found in Christ alone. You are not defined by your struggles, your failures, or the demands of others. You are a child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. The enemy wants to isolate you, but the Lord has called you into the body of Christ, where you can find strength and support.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under heavy attack from the enemy. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, torment, and fear that has been assigned against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted them since childhood. Set them free, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray against the vivid and disturbing dreams that plague them. Give them restful sleep, free from the enemy’s harassments. Let them lie down and sleep in safety, knowing that You are their protector (Psalm 4:8). We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, who encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Deliver them from every assignment of the enemy, and let Your peace reign in their mind and heart.

Lord, we cry out for relief from the overwhelming weight they carry. The enemy seeks to wear them down with constant demands and attacks, but You are the God who gives rest to the weary. We pray that You would shield them from the relentless pressures of life and grant them moments of solitude to be refreshed in Your presence. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We pray for their new job, Lord. Go before them and make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). Grant them favor with their employers and open the door for one of the two schedules that best fit their needs. We trust that You have a plan for their prosperity and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Provide for their financial needs and give them wisdom in all their decisions.
