We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already overcome the world and all spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you, your family, and your pets in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). You are not alone in this battle. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:13-18). We pray that you would be strengthened in the Lord and in His mighty power. We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee from you in Jesus’ name.
The vivid and disturbing dreams you are experiencing may be a tactic of the enemy to wear you down. We pray that the Lord would give you peaceful sleep and that He would speak to you in dreams that bring life and encouragement. The Lord says, "I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel. My heart also instructs me in the night seasons" (Psalm 16:7). We rebuke every demonic dream and declare that your mind would be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). We pray that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is not uncommon, but it is not of God. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Every sin begins in the mind, and we must guard our hearts and minds diligently. We pray that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit and that He would empower you to resist temptation. We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). We pray that you would find your fulfillment in Christ alone and that your mind would be stayed on Him, leading to perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
We lift up the African American community and pray that they would be set free from every false teaching. The enemy has sown tares among the wheat, but the Lord knows those who are His (2 Timothy 2:19). We pray that the truth of God’s Word would prevail and that hearts would be turned to the Lord. We declare that the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
For your family’s health, we pray healing and restoration. The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that the flu would leave your home and that no one would be made sicker while caring for others. We declare that your father’s cough would cease and that he would be fully restored to health.
For your cats, we pray for healing and protection. The Lord cares even for the sparrows, and you are of more value than many sparrows (Matthew 10:31). We pray that your cats would be healed and that you would find a trustworthy and affordable veterinarian in your area. We declare that the Lord would provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Regarding your job and business, we pray that the Lord would direct your steps. Commit your ways to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act (Psalm 37:5). If starting a business is not God’s will for you, we pray that He would close the door and lead you to the right job. We pray that you would have favor in your upcoming interview and that the Lord would give you strength for the physical demands of the job. We declare that the Lord is your provider and that He will supply all your needs.
For your family’s trip, we pray that the Lord would make a way where there seems to be no way. The Lord is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We pray that the funds would be provided and that the trip would be a time of blessing and refreshment for your family.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. We lift up our brother/sister to You and ask that You would surround them with Your presence and peace. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has been assigned against them. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, we ask that You would deliver them from every disturbing dream and fill their mind with Your peace. Renew their mind with Your Word and help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Strengthen them to resist temptation and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We pray for healing for their family and pets. Touch them with Your healing hand, Lord, and restore them to full health. Provide for their needs, both financially and physically. Lead them to the right job and guide their steps in starting a business, if it is Your will.
We pray for the African American community, that they would be set free from false teachings and turn their hearts to You. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your gospel be proclaimed with power.
Lord, we ask that You would provide the funds needed for their family trip. Make a way where there seems to be no way and let Your glory be revealed.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
