I have posted before about spiritual warfare targeting me by using people in my life/environment to do unusually cruel or harmful things to me to try to push me toward deep unforgiveness or other things like divination. We hear your cry for help in the midst of this intense spiritual battle, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Christ came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The attacks you describe are not merely human cruelty; they are orchestrated by the powers of darkness to shake your faith, provoke bitterness, and draw you into sin. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the seriousness of what you are facing. The enemy’s goal is to lead you into unforgiveness, which gives him a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27), or worse, into divination or other occult practices, which are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your heart, and your spirit. We command every spirit of torment, manipulation, and deception to flee from you in the mighty name of Jesus! The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon—whether spiritual or physical—can prevail against you when you stand firm in Him.
We also want to encourage you to take authority in Christ. You are not a victim; you are a warrior in God’s army. Put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are your protection. Wield the Word like a weapon. When the enemy whispers lies, counter them with Scripture. When bitterness tries to take root, choose forgiveness as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you was right; it means you refuse to let it define you or give the enemy a foothold in your life.
We must also warn you: do not entertain thoughts of retaliation or seek ungodly means to "fight back." Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. Your job is to walk in love, even when it is hard, and to trust God to be your defender. If you are tempted to seek divination or other occult practices for protection or insight, we strongly rebuke that spirit in Jesus’ name. Those things are doors to darkness, not light. The Holy Spirit is your guide, and the Word of God is your lamp (Psalm 119:105). Lean on Him alone.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is under fierce spiritual attack. We thank You that You are a shield for those who take refuge in You (Psalm 18:30). Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels and station them as guards around their life. We break every assignment of the enemy against them—every spirit of cruelty, manipulation, unforgiveness, and deception. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for it is written that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).
Father, we ask that You would heal their heart from the pain caused by others. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven us. Guard their mind from bitterness and their spirit from despair. Let them see this battle through Your eyes, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we pray that You would expose any hidden motives or schemes of the enemy. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to respond with Your truth. Strengthen their faith so that they do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is their heritage as Your servant, and their vindication is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Lord, that You are their defender, their refuge, and their strong tower. May they run to You and be safe.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and delivered. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and set the captives free. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. Amen.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
