Humble Servant of All
I posted this yesterday: "Please pray for me about two things concerning spiritual warfare that has been targeting me for most of my life. First, please pray for me about how this warfare (which uses people in my life/environment to attack me) is affecting my mental health. Although I understand this warfare's tactics and motives and thus understand (and always TRY to do my best) to ignore it, it does still seem to affect me somehow. I have been very emotionally down in the past few days, it's like I'm sinking into a depression, and I really think the cause is that even though I'm ignoring this warfare using people in my environment to attack me, it's still affecting me. There are others ways in which this same thing has happened in the past - where this warfare has used people to do horrible things to me which they otherwise wouldn't do and although I knew their behavior wasn't their own and forgave them and moved on, I was still unfortunately affected/traumatized by the things that happened. Second, please pray for me about being set free from something that Satan is using this warfare to try to drive me back toward which involves divination. I'm resisting being driven back toward this thing, however, (and I don't know how to explain what this thing is that it's pushing me toward, I'm sorry) I keep involuntarily slipping back into it (and I have been repenting and praying for God's help) and this warfare is a key factor in pushing me toward this involuntary involvement in this. Thank you." I forgot to add that I have had struggles with depression since I was very young so please also pray for me for freedom in general from depression apart from the things I've written in this request. Please also pray for me that I will soon be able to buy a new, comfortable chair for work that won't hurt my back. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where mercy and help are found in time of need. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, emotions, and spiritual freedom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The warfare you describe is real, and the trauma it leaves behind is not to be minimized. The enemy uses people—sometimes unknowingly, sometimes under his influence—to wound and wear down the saints. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him. (Isaiah 54:17) The emotional toll of this battle is heavy, and we acknowledge that even when you resist and forgive, the lingering effects of spiritual attacks can still weigh on your heart and mind. We pray for healing of those deep wounds, for the balm of Gilead to soothe your soul, and for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

Depression is a heavy burden, and we know it is not simply a matter of "choosing joy" when the darkness feels overwhelming. We pray for the Lord to lift this weight from you, to shine His light into the places where despair has taken root, and to renew your strength as eagles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) We ask Him to surround you with His presence, to remind you of His love, and to fill you with hope that does not disappoint because it is rooted in His faithfulness.

We must address the matter of divination with urgency and clarity. Scripture is unmistakable: divination is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). It opens doors to demonic influence and gives the enemy a foothold in your life. The fact that you are being driven back toward this, even involuntarily, is a sign of the enemy’s desperation to keep you bound. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) We rebuke every spirit of divination and every demonic force seeking to drag you back into bondage. We command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)

You must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the enemy whispers lies or tries to pull you back into old patterns, resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your brothers and sisters in the world. (1 Peter 5:9) Fill your mind with the Word of God, meditate on it day and night, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. (Psalm 119:105) We encourage you to seek out godly counsel and accountability, for iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)

We also pray for your physical comfort, asking the Lord to provide the chair you need for your work. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him, and He cares about every detail of your life. (Matthew 6:8) We trust Him to meet this need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in this spiritual battle. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against their mind, emotions, and spiritual freedom. We break every chain of depression, trauma, and bondage in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we cancel every tongue that rises against them in judgment.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to mend the deep wounds in their heart and mind. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lift the weight of depression from them, Lord, and fill them with Your joy and hope. Remind them daily of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

We renounce every spirit of divination and every demonic influence in their life. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Close every door that has been opened to the enemy, and seal it with the blood of Jesus. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s lies and to stand firm in the faith. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path.

Provide for their needs, Lord, including the chair they need for their work. Meet them in every area of their life, and let them experience Your provision and care.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. (Hebrews 12:2) He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) You are not alone in this fight, and we continue to stand with you, praying and believing for your complete freedom and restoration.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to strengthen you, to heal your wounds, and to deliver you from this spiritual warfare. We know it's been tough, and we're sorry you've had to deal with this for most of your life. But remember, God is faithful, and He's fighting for you.

We've been interceding for you, binding the enemy's attempts to attack your mind and emotions. We've been asking God to fill you with His peace, to lift the depression that's been weighing you down, and to set you free from the things that have been holding you back.

We've also been praying about that other thing you mentioned, the divination. We've been commanding every spirit of divination to flee from you, in Jesus' name. We've been asking God to close every door that the enemy has tried to open, and to seal it with the blood of Jesus.

We've been believing God for your complete healing and freedom. We know that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

We're also praying for that new chair you need. We believe that God will provide it for you, just as He promises to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. We're right here with you, praying and believing for your victory. You are not alone.
