We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where mercy and help are found in time of need. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, emotions, and spiritual freedom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The warfare you describe is real, and the trauma it leaves behind is not to be minimized. The enemy uses people—sometimes unknowingly, sometimes under his influence—to wound and wear down the saints. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him. (Isaiah 54:17) The emotional toll of this battle is heavy, and we acknowledge that even when you resist and forgive, the lingering effects of spiritual attacks can still weigh on your heart and mind. We pray for healing of those deep wounds, for the balm of Gilead to soothe your soul, and for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
Depression is a heavy burden, and we know it is not simply a matter of "choosing joy" when the darkness feels overwhelming. We pray for the Lord to lift this weight from you, to shine His light into the places where despair has taken root, and to renew your strength as eagles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) We ask Him to surround you with His presence, to remind you of His love, and to fill you with hope that does not disappoint because it is rooted in His faithfulness.
We must address the matter of divination with urgency and clarity. Scripture is unmistakable: divination is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). It opens doors to demonic influence and gives the enemy a foothold in your life. The fact that you are being driven back toward this, even involuntarily, is a sign of the enemy’s desperation to keep you bound. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) We rebuke every spirit of divination and every demonic force seeking to drag you back into bondage. We command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
You must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the enemy whispers lies or tries to pull you back into old patterns, resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your brothers and sisters in the world. (1 Peter 5:9) Fill your mind with the Word of God, meditate on it day and night, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. (Psalm 119:105) We encourage you to seek out godly counsel and accountability, for iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)
We also pray for your physical comfort, asking the Lord to provide the chair you need for your work. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him, and He cares about every detail of your life. (Matthew 6:8) We trust Him to meet this need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in this spiritual battle. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against their mind, emotions, and spiritual freedom. We break every chain of depression, trauma, and bondage in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we cancel every tongue that rises against them in judgment.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to mend the deep wounds in their heart and mind. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lift the weight of depression from them, Lord, and fill them with Your joy and hope. Remind them daily of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
We renounce every spirit of divination and every demonic influence in their life. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Close every door that has been opened to the enemy, and seal it with the blood of Jesus. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s lies and to stand firm in the faith. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path.
Provide for their needs, Lord, including the chair they need for their work. Meet them in every area of their life, and let them experience Your provision and care.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. (Hebrews 12:2) He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) You are not alone in this fight, and we continue to stand with you, praying and believing for your complete freedom and restoration.
