We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured spiritual warfare from childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 10:10, 16:33). The battles you face are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this present darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we do not fight alone—God has given us the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the first and most critical step in overcoming spiritual warfare, for in Christ, you are a new creation, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we pray that you would do so now, for He alone has the power to break every chain.
Father God, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this precious one in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every generational curse, every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment that has sought to plague them from childhood. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17).
We also pray for discernment, that they would recognize the enemy’s tactics and stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Let them not be ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). Father, we ask that You would bring godly believers into their life to encourage, support, and pray with them. Iron sharpens iron, and one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Deuteronomy 32:30).
We declare that this spiritual warfare will not define their life but will instead be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Let them arise and shine, for their light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon them (Isaiah 60:1). We pray that they would walk in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of darkness to leave and never return. We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that this one is covered, protected, and set free. May they walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, no longer a victim of the enemy’s attacks but a victorious overcomer. Amen.
