Spiritual Warfare affecting ### + relationship

Makais

Disciple of Prayer
Hi my fellow believers, I have never knew this was a thing nor did I imagine myself using this but I was called to fast this week for the very thing that I’m asking to tune into prayer with me about. I’m a young pastor, I’m ### years old and all my life I have been told you’re going to be a pastor that’s your calling, my mother is also a pastor. I’m still learning and I make mistakes I sometimes miss God’s voice. But as of late I have been praying, worshiping and in my word more than before. I was led to this page looking for some spiritual warfare music and I know there’s a reason I ended up here. My family is being attacked in the spiritual realm over and over and over again. My family had some past issues that I won’t get into detail with but God set them free but it seems to never shake them. On multiple avenues they have been attacked and I’m included. We are a small church that had a building, lost the building, preached out of our home, had new people come, new people leave and it’s been a cycle. God has promised us a lot of things and I don’t lose faith in that I just need support for my family. As for my relationship, my girlfriend of about ### years has been walking and trying to get to know Jesus. I have taken her to church, we have brought Jesus into the center of relationship. But through multiple revelation she has family differences in her bloodline that is holding her back from full deliverance and walking in Christ. I apologized to God because all of this isn’t just stemming from my relationship but other people and things as well causing my family to be in this season of spiritual warfare. I myself am in dangerous territory but God didn’t make me fear. I have been fasting for clarity, for next steps as this was a lot of information to take in the past weeks. My church home is small and the people I do know have already prayed for me and I know are holding me up. I just need to find a community of prayer warriors while I’m in this season because I’m exhausted. I am eating sleeping prayer worship because it’s so heavy. Worrying about my family and then my relationship and watching the attacks so blatant. I’m tired of the enemy and I cancel all assignments in the name of Jesus Christ.

We stand with you in this season of intense spiritual warfare, dear brother in Christ, and we lift you, your family, your ministry, and your relationship before the throne of God with urgency and authority. The fact that you have been led here is no coincidence—God is gathering His warriors to intercede for you, and we take this call seriously. You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord Himself fights for you, and His Word declares that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).

First, we must address the foundation of all spiritual warfare: **the name of Jesus Christ**. You mentioned canceling assignments in His name, and this is powerful, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name that we can trample over the enemy (Luke 10:19). Yet we notice that in your request, you did not invoke His name directly in your plea for prayer. Brother, never underestimate the power of explicitly calling on Jesus in every prayer, every rebuke, and every declaration. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to ensure that your girlfriend—and anyone else in your sphere—understands that salvation and deliverance come **only** through repentance and faith in Christ alone. There is no middle ground, no partial deliverance, and no spiritual victory apart from Him.

Now, let us speak to the spiritual attacks on your family and ministry. The enemy is relentless because he knows the potential of a family and a church fully surrendered to God. The cycles of loss, instability, and spiritual oppression you describe are not coincidental—they are strategic attempts to wear you down, discourage you, and steal the promises God has spoken over you. But take heart: *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). The fact that you are fasting, praying, and seeking God’s face is evidence that you are **already** walking in victory, even if it feels like the battle is raging. Remember the words of Paul: *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). Your weapons are prayer, the Word of God, worship, and the blood of Jesus. Use them without ceasing.

Regarding your relationship, we must speak with both love and clarity. You refer to your girlfriend of several years, and we commend you for centering your relationship on Christ. However, we must ask: **What is the ultimate goal of this relationship?** Scripture is clear that believers are not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), and if she is not yet fully surrendered to Christ, you must proceed with wisdom and discernment. Courtship between believers should have one purpose: **to glorify God through a Christ-centered marriage**. If she is still struggling with deliverance due to generational strongholds, this is not a matter to take lightly. You cannot save her—that is the work of the Holy Spirit—but you can pray for her, speak truth into her life, and set godly boundaries. *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3). If she is not walking fully in the light of Christ, you must ask yourself whether this relationship is honoring God or if it is distracting you from the calling He has placed on your life.

We also urge you to examine whether there is any **sexual immorality** in this relationship. Fornication is a sin that opens doors to demonic oppression (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and if this is present, it must be repented of immediately. The enemy will use any foothold to gain access, and purity is non-negotiable for those called to lead God’s people. If this is an area of struggle, we plead with you to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18) and seek accountability. Your anointing and your family’s breakthrough depend on holiness.

As for your ministry, the loss of your church building and the cycles of instability are not evidence of God’s abandonment—they are opportunities for Him to display His faithfulness in new ways. Remember that the early church thrived **without buildings**, and God often strips us of what we rely on so that we will rely **only on Him**. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Perhaps this season is preparing you for something greater than you can imagine. Stay faithful in the small things, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it.

Now, let us pray over you with the authority of Christ:

---
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for our brother, a young pastor who has been called by You from his youth. Lord, we ask that You strengthen him in this season of intense spiritual warfare. Clothe him with Your armor—helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let him stand firm, unshaken by the schemes of the enemy.

Father, we break every generational curse, every stronghold, and every assignment of the enemy against his family in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, division, and oppression, and we loose the peace of God, the fire of the Holy Spirit, and the anointing for breakthrough. Lord, restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Give them back their building, their stability, and their joy tenfold. Let their ministry be a lighthouse in the darkness, drawing souls to You.

We lift up his relationship before You, Lord. If this woman is the one You have ordained for him, then we pray for her **complete surrender to Christ**. Break every chain in her bloodline, Lord. Deliver her from every stronghold, and let her walk in the fullness of Your freedom. But if this relationship is not of You, give him the courage to let go, for we know that *"to obey is better than sacrifice"* (1 Samuel 15:22). Guard his heart and his body in purity, and let him seek a godly wife who is **fully devoted to You**, that together they may serve You without distraction.

Father, we ask for divine clarity during his fast. Speak to him in dreams, visions, and through Your Word. Let him hear Your voice clearly and follow Your leading without hesitation. Renew his strength, for *"those who wait on Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).

We rebuke the spirit of exhaustion and heaviness in Jesus’ name. Fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Surround him with a community of prayer warriors who will stand in the gap for him. Let him not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, he **will** reap if he does not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You remind him of Your promises. Let him see Your faithfulness in the land of the living. We declare that **this season of warfare will end in victory**, and that he will testify of Your goodness and power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
---

Brother, you are not fighting alone. The body of Christ is rising up with you in this battle. Keep worshiping, keep praying, and keep standing on the Word of God. The enemy may be relentless, but **our God is greater**. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Stay the course. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you, your family, and your relationship up before the throne of God. We're interceding for you with urgency and authority, knowing that God has gathered His warriors to fight alongside you in this intense season of spiritual warfare.
