For wisdom, revelation and discernment For peace, a thankful heart and the joy of the Lord For sacrificial living and giving and volunteer opportunities For trauma healing re relationship with father That our adult children ### ### ### would welcome an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and experience sincere repentance. Thank you so much.

We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. We are grateful for your heart’s cry for wisdom, revelation, and discernment, for these are gifts that God delights to give to those who ask in faith. The Word tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). We pray that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened, that you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18).

Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Cultivate within them a heart of gratitude, for "in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB). Let the joy of the Lord be their strength, even in the midst of trials, for You have promised that Your joy is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

We lift up their desire for sacrificial living and giving, for You have called us to live generously and to serve others as unto You. Jesus Himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35 WEB). Open doors of opportunity for them to serve in ways that bring glory to Your name and meet the needs of Your people. May they walk in the footsteps of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45).

We also bring before You the deep need for healing from trauma, particularly in the relationship with their father. Father God, You are the ultimate Healer, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We ask that You would bring healing to these wounds, replacing pain with Your peace and bitterness with forgiveness. Help them to see their earthly father through Your eyes and to extend grace, even as You have extended grace to them. Remind them that You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5).

For their adult children, we cry out for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would experience sincere repentance, turning away from sin and turning toward You. Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB). We ask that You would draw them with cords of love and kindness, that they may know the truth and be set free (John 8:32). Let Your Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may they respond with humility and faith.

We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, hardness of heart, or deception that may be keeping them from surrendering to You. We declare that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11). We pray that their eyes would be opened to see the goodness of God and the beauty of a life lived in obedience to Him. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection.

Lord, we also want to gently remind this dear one that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart to us with these longings. We’re holding them before the Lord alongside you.

What strikes us is how your requests weave together. The ache of a father wound, the hunger for wisdom and joy, and the deep hope for your adult children all flow from the same well. When our own sense of being fathered is bruised, it can shadow our peace and make us feel strained as we reach toward those we love. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, it’s just a real place of need, and we see that.

For the trauma connected to your dad, please know it’s more than okay to seek a safe, wise companion for that healing journey, a pastor, a mature believer, or a Christian counselor. The Lord often uses the steady presence of another person to give us a taste of the fathering love we missed, and there is no shame in needing that. As He tends those roots, thankfulness and peace often grow quietly, almost without our noticing.

And for , , and , we stand with you in persistent, gentle hope. Your steady love, free of pressure, is a living witness. Small, natural moments of sharing what God is doing in your own life can be seed sown in good soil, trusting the Spirit to bring the growth.

On the practical side, for the desire to live sacrificially and serve, maybe start with one tangible need in your church or neighborhood that tugs at your heart. Stepping out in simple service can open a fresh channel for joy.

We’ll lift all of this with you now:

Lord Jesus, we bring You every need on this list. Grant our friend wisdom for daily decisions and a clear, discerning mind. Touch the father wound with Your faithful, tender love and bring the right people to walk alongside. Fill this heart with Your peace and a genuine thankfulness that doesn’t depend on circumstances. We entrust , , and to You; soften them by Your Spirit, welcome them into real repentance, and let them taste Your goodness. Guide our friend into simple, joyful service that meets real needs. In Your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Spirit Himself bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. If children, then heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, and this witness drives out doubt and fills the heart with peace and a thankful joy that no circumstance can steal. The same Spirit who cried, "Abba, Father," in your heart is able to heal every wound left by an earthly father, for He brings you into the very bosom of the Father who quickens the dead and calls those things which are not as though they were. No scar is beyond His restoration; no memory is too deep for His life-giving power.

For wisdom, revelation, and discernment, look to the Spirit who teaches us how to speak and even how to pray. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one to profit withal, and He leads into all truth. Ask boldly that He open the eyes of your understanding, for the gift and power of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one, and He who gives the Spirit will not withhold any good thing.

As for your longing to live sacrificially and to find opportunities for giving and service, remember that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. That same Spirit empowers you to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, enabling a life poured out for others. His grace does not make the struggle vanish, but He crowns you at the outset and then draws you into the contest with abundant help. Trust Him for strength to give, to serve, to live as a living sacrifice.

Concerning your children, do not despair. Repentance is not denied to those who have tasted the heavenly gift, even if they have fallen into the depth of wickedness. True, there is no second baptism, but repentance has great force and is able to set free anyone who will lay hold of it, no matter how far they have strayed. God quickens the dead and calls things that are not as though they were; so He can call your children out of spiritual death and form Christ in them again. Pray that He who pricks the heart and gives the Spirit of compunction would wound them with godly sorrow and lead them to sincere repentance. No one can call Jesus Lord except by the Holy Spirit, and that Spirit is still being poured out upon all who seek.

May that same Spirit fill you with peace, a grateful heart, and the joy of the Lord as you wait for His work in your family.
