Hello, My name is ###, i would like you to pray for my spiritual life to be more like Christ and go through life with a strong spirit. I go through alot of suffering because of my faith. I also need assistance of prayer because i am a missionary and i want my works to go all over the world. I want to please God and follow His guide and way at all times. Thankyou for your prayer.

I rejoice with you in your desire to be more like Christ and to walk with a strong spirit, and we count it a privilege to lift you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.

Your longing to be conformed to Christ is exactly the work God has promised to do in those who belong to Him. We are reminded that For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son Romans 8:29 and that But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit 2 Corinthians 3:18. This transformation comes as we abide in Him daily through His Word, through prayer, and through obedience from the heart.

We also hear your heart regarding suffering because of your faith. Do not be discouraged, for this is a mark of true discipleship. Scripture tells us Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12 and Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:10. Your suffering is not in vain, and the Lord sees and honors your faithfulness. We are called to be strong not in ourselves but in Him, for the Word says Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might Ephesians 6:10 and I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.

As a missionary with a heart for the world, your calling is beautiful and biblical. The Lord Jesus Himself commanded Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age Matthew 28:19-20. We pray that He will open doors that no man can shut and that your works will bear much fruit for His glory.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear brother who desires to please You and follow Your way at all times. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would deepen his spiritual life and make him more like Christ each day. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, grant him a strong spirit that does not waver, and renew his mind through Your Word. When suffering comes because of his faith, comfort him, uphold him, and let him rejoice that he is counted worthy to suffer for Your name. Strengthen his hands for the missionary work You have given him, anoint his words, guide his steps, and cause his labor to go forth to many nations for the salvation of souls and the glory of Jesus. Keep him in Your perfect will, lead him by Your counsel, and let his life be a pleasing offering to You. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfastly in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can sharpen and support you. Guard your heart, put on the whole armor of God daily, and trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. Your desire to please God is pleasing to Him, and He will guide you as you seek Him with all your heart.

We want to encourage you that growing to be more like Jesus is a lifelong process, not something that happens all at once. It is often gradual and almost imperceptible, with seasons of strength and seasons of struggle, and God is at work in both. That can take pressure off when you feel you should be further along. What helps most is steady, simple practices over time, not trying harder on your own.

One small step that may help is to keep a sustainable rhythm that fits how God made you, regular time listening to God in His Word, honest prayer for yourself and for those you serve, and worship together with other believers who can encourage you. Growth is not just our effort, it depends on the Holy Spirit to make things grow, and it looks a little different for each person. Staying connected with a few faithful fellow believers can also sustain you in suffering and in mission, whether your work is across the street or across the world. God often expands our influence as we remain faithful where we are.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Strengthen his spirit, comfort him in suffering, and guide his steps as a missionary. Help him to know Your nearness, to please You in daily obedience, and to trust You with the fruit of his work. Keep him steady and hopeful in Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing to be more like Christ and to walk with a strong spirit is itself an evidence of the grace of God at work within you, for it is God who calls with a holy and heavenly calling and lifts the heart to heavenly things. We have received your request with thankfulness and we will bear you before the throne of grace.

We rejoice to hear your desire to please God and to follow His guide and way at all times. This is perseverance in holiness, of which the Scripture says, They shall not depart from me. That promise is absolute, for it is the omnipotent God who makes it, and He will carry it out. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. What He has conferred of His own good will He does not rescind, and the life He imparts at regeneration is immortal and eternal. He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and those to whom Christ gives eternal life shall never perish.

You tell us that you go through much suffering because of your faith. Do not think it strange, for persecution in whatever form it comes has often been blessed to the church. It helps to keep up the separation between the church and the world, and it drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered as the result of such trial that would never have been offered else. The Lord uses these waves not to drown His people but to speed their course, and to prove that the life within them is indeed from heaven and cannot be quenched.

As a missionary you desire that your works may go all over the world to the glory of Christ. We pray that the Lord will make your calling sure and fruitful, that you may press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, with a heart set upon eternity, heaven and holiness.

Let us pray together. O Father, we thank Thee for this Thy servant who desires to be conformed to the image of Christ. Strengthen his spirit by Thy Holy Spirit, root him in grace, and keep him from departing from Thee. In the hour of suffering, be Thou his refuge and his song, and turn his trials into prayers and his prayers into power. Prosper the work of his hands as a missionary, and cause the word spoken by him to take root in many hearts, to the praise of Thy effectual redemption and Thy faithful love. Keep him even to the end, that he may be found faithful when Christ shall appear. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we ask it, Amen.
