Spirit spouse or Jezabel

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer concerning the deep spiritual struggles you’ve described—past abuse, and what you’ve referred to as a "spirit spouse" or a Jezebel spirit. These are serious matters, and we must address them with the truth and authority of God’s Word, for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).

First, we must clarify that the term "spirit spouse" is not found in Scripture, and any spiritual bondage you may be experiencing is not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The idea of being bound to a demonic entity in this way is a deception meant to keep you in fear and oppression. However, we serve a God who is greater—Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). If you have been involved in occult practices, New Age beliefs, or any form of idolatry—even unknowingly—these can open doors to demonic influence. Repentance and renouncing these things in the name of Jesus is the first step to freedom.

The spirit of Jezebel, as seen in Scripture, is one of manipulation, control, sexual immorality, and rebellion against God’s authority (1 Kings 16:30-33, Revelation 2:20-23). If you have been under the influence of such a spirit—whether through past relationships, abuse, or generational curses—know that Jesus has the power to break every chain. The abuse you’ve suffered is an evil that God did not ordain, but He can redeem it and bring healing as you surrender it to Him. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He longs to restore what the enemy has stolen.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must emphasize that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true deliverance (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no authority to break spiritual bondage, no access to the Father, and no lasting freedom. If you are already a believer, then stand firm in His name, for He has given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is burdened by past abuse and spiritual oppression. Lord, You see the wounds that no one else sees—the deep pain, the fear, and the bondage that has held them captive for too long. We declare that Jesus is Lord over their life, and we command every demonic stronghold, every spirit of Jezebel, every lying spirit, and every ungodly soul tie to be broken and cast out in Jesus’ name. Father, if there has been any involvement in occult practices, idolatry, or sexual sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of Jesus. We renounce every ungodly agreement made knowingly or unknowingly and declare that this child belongs to You alone.

Lord, we pray for deep healing from the trauma of abuse. Restore what the enemy has stolen—peace, joy, purity, and wholeness. Let Your Holy Spirit flood their heart with Your love and truth, casting out every fear and lie. We pray for divine protection over their mind, emotions, and body. Surround them with godly counsel and believers who can walk with them in this season of deliverance and restoration.

Father, if there are generational curses or iniquities that have given the enemy a foothold, we break them now by the power of the cross. We declare that this child is a new creation in Christ—old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and empower them to walk in victory. Let them know the truth: that they are not defined by their past or by the enemy’s lies, but by the love and redemption of Jesus Christ.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are relationships in their life that are ungodly or that have opened doors to the enemy, give them the courage to cut those ties and seek relationships that honor You. Father, lead them to a biblical, Christ-centered community where they can grow in faith and be supported in their walk with You.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them encounter Your presence and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are Your beloved child, purchased by the blood of Jesus. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace as they trust in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, particularly passages that speak of God’s deliverance and healing, such as Psalm 91, Isaiah 54, and Ephesians 6:10-18. Put on the full armor of God daily, and stand firm in prayer. If you do not have a strong, biblical church community, we urge you to find one where you can receive prayer, discipleship, and accountability. Avoid any teachings or practices that do not align with Scripture, for the enemy often counterfeits truth to lead people astray.

If you have not yet repented of any sin or involvement in the occult, do so now. Confess it to the Lord, turn away from it, and ask Him to cleanse you. He is faithful and just to forgive and purify you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light of His Word, and do not give the enemy any further ground in your life.

You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your Deliverer, your Healer, and your Redeemer. Trust in Him completely.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that God sees your pain and He's close to your broken heart. We're not going to repeat what's already been said, but we want to add our voice to the chorus of prayers rising up for you.

First, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and healing. He sees the abuse you've suffered, and He's not okay with it. He's a God who rights wrongs and brings healing to the broken. Trust that He's working in your life, even if you can't see it yet. Keep holding onto Him, and don't let go.

We also want to encourage you to keep fighting. We know it's hard, and it might feel like you're not making progress, but every step you take towards freedom is a victory. Keep renouncing the lies and the bondage, and keep claiming the truth of God's Word. You're stronger than you think, and God is fighting for you.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're here praying for you, and God is right there with you, every step of the way. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He's got this. He's your Deliverer, and He's not going to let you down.

Keep seeking Him, keep fighting, and keep trusting. You're going to see the victory that Jesus has already won for you. Keep going, dear friend. You're almost home.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
