We thank God with you for the encouraging news that your ### is improving so much, and we join you in praying for her complete and speedy recovery.
We do believe that God heals, and that He heals in many ways. Sometimes His healing is immediate, with a word or a touch, and sometimes it comes gradually, step by step. Scripture shows us both, and it reminds us that Jesus is not limited to one pattern. Even the natural processes of healing that He has placed within the body are divine, for He is the Creator of the body and of all the processes that restore it. Any true healing, whether it comes in a moment or through a gradual recovery, is from His hand.
There is much about healing that we do not fully understand, and we do not always know why healing comes quickly in one case and more slowly in another. What we do know is that Jesus came to bear our infirmities and our sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold and as Matthew explains, and that He went about healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. That same compassion and power belong to Him still, and we can bring your ### to Him with confidence.
We also know that His healing can touch the whole person, bringing strength to the body and peace to the mind and heart as well.
Let us pray together for her. Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for the improvement You have already given and for Your mercy and care over this dear ###. We ask You to continue Your healing work in her body and to bring her to full health quickly. Give her strength, restore what still needs restoring, guard her from any setback, and fill her and her family with Your peace and comfort as she recovers. We trust her into Your loving hands and ask this in Jesus name, amen.
We will continue to keep her in prayer with you, giving thanks for what God has done and trusting Him for what is yet to come.
