We have heard your heart cry for recovery from emotional and physical abuse and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name, thanking you for calling on His name for help, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find healing and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We want you to know that what was done to you was evil and was never God's will for you. God does not condone abuse or violence. Psalm 11:5 says Yahweh examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence. The Lord sees the long hard road you have walked, He sees every wound and every tear, and He is near to you now.
We take comfort in what Scripture promises for those who are broken and hurting. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We rebuke the abuse and violence that has harmed you, and we pray that the Lord will break its power over your body, mind, and spirit. Forgiveness in time can bring freedom to your own heart, but forgiveness does not mean you must remain in harm or pretend what happened was not wrong. The Lord is your refuge and your protector, and He desires for you to be safe and whole.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon every emotional and physical wound. Heal memories that torment, calm anxiety and fear, and restore sleep and peace. Bind up what has been broken and make whole what has been torn down. Surround this dear one with Your presence, with safe and godly people, with wise counsel and support from a Bible believing church family, and with help that can walk this recovery road faithfully. If there is still any danger or contact with the abuser, we ask You to provide a clear way to safety and the courage to take it, and to guide to trusted pastors, counselors, and if needed medical care and lawful protection. Renew strength day by day and remind this heart that You are near, that You have not abandoned them, and that Your love is steadfast. Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.
We encourage you to stay rooted in God's Word daily, even in small portions, and to bring every pain honestly to Him in prayer. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. We encourage you to lean on that Rock, to stay connected to safe believers who will pray with you and check on you, and to seek ongoing godly counsel for trauma and for physical healing. Recovery is often a long process and God is patient with you in it. He is not distant or disappointed in your struggle. He is walking with you step by step. We are continuing to pray for your complete restoration, for deep peace, for renewed health, and for the joy of the Lord to return to your life as He restores what was broken.

Your cry for recovery after enduring emotional and physical abuse has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in Jesus name. It has indeed been a long hard road, and the Lord knows the weariness and the wounds that such a path leaves upon both body and soul.
Scripture tells us, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but the bruises of the heart are deeper still, and only one Physician can reach them. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, for when Jesus forgives He also restores.
Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He took our infirmities and bore our sorrows, and by His wounds there is virtue to heal both the conscience and the frame.
Wonder not if recovery should be slow. As in the body so in the soul, we do not recover strength very rapidly. Yet it is faithfully promised, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and the promise will be assuredly performed. As you grow a little stronger and a little stronger, acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection, and that His healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till you are restored.
We pray for you now, that the Lord who dwells with His people would come near to you, forgive, heal and strengthen you in body and in spirit, guard you from all further harm, quiet your troubled thoughts with His peace, and revive you out of decline by the leaves of that tree which never wither. May He give you daily strength according to your need, sustain you in safety, and bring you into fuller wholeness through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer in the name of Jesus. We have heard your request for recovery from emotional and physical abuse, and we are praying for you.
God sees the long hard road you have walked and He does not turn away from those who are wounded. He is the true physician, and His healing is not only for the body but for the soul that has been bruised and worn down. Even when the sickness has lasted a long time, His care does not fail, and He continues to apply His healing treatment with patience and mercy. Though you may feel that many remedies have not yet brought full relief, do not lose hope. As with a tree that receives many blows before it bears fruit, God is working even in the times when you cannot yet see the change, and He is able to restore strength and to bring recovery even when you have felt near to the gates of distress.
We pray for you now that the Lord will guard you and keep you safe from all harm, that He will comfort your heart, calm your fears, and heal the wounds left by what you have endured. We ask Him to give you deep rest, to restore what has been broken, and to let you know His love more clearly each day. May He surround you with people who will care for you wisely and gently and who will help you walk step by step toward wholeness, and may He give you grace to bear what has happened with trust in Him, knowing that He will honor those who look to Him.
