We lift up your dear father in Sri Lanka with heavy hearts, standing together in faith as we bring his suffering before the throne of grace. The pain he endures after three surgeries weighs on us all, and we join you in crying out for his healing. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the compassion of our Lord, who hears the cries of His children.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine touch upon our brother in Sri Lanka. Lord, we ask that You would lay Your healing hands upon him, easing his pain and restoring his strength. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits together our bones and heals our wounds. We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and nurses caring for him, giving them wisdom and discernment. Lord, we also pray for peace to surround him and his family, that they may feel Your presence and comfort in this difficult time. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for our brother today. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you, dear sister or brother, to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer. Lean on the Lord, for He is your strength and your shield. If there is any unconfessed sin in your father’s life or your own, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Trust in His timing and His plan, for He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your father have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you seek Him.
