We join you in lifting up your grandson before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this precious child to the Lord in prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace.
We are reminded that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made and is a heritage from the Lord. Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. And Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Your grandson is known fully by God, who formed his mouth and his tongue, and we trust in the Lord's perfect care and timing for his development.
We take comfort in knowing that God is the one who gives speech and hearing. Exodus 4:11 says Yahweh said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes a man mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn't it I, Yahweh? And we remember how Jesus in His earthly ministry showed His compassion and power to heal speech, as in Mark 7:35 where his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke clearly. We know that nothing is too hard for our God, and whether He brings progress gradually through growth, therapy, and guidance, or through His miraculous touch, we trust His loving will.
We also pray for you and his parents, that God will grant abundant patience, wisdom, and peace as you support him. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear grandson to You. Lord, You know him by name and You formed him in his mother's womb with purpose and love. We ask for Your healing touch upon his speech development, that You would loose his tongue to speak clearly in Your perfect timing. Grant him understanding, confidence, and joy as he learns to communicate. Father, we ask that You guide his parents and grandparents with patience and wisdom, and guide any therapists, doctors, and teachers who work with him, that they may have insight and compassion. Fill this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and help them to rest in Your goodness, knowing that You love this child even more than they do. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that Your will is perfect and good. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to speak life and blessing over him daily, to read to him, sing to him, and pray aloud with him, trusting that God is at work even in the small steps of progress. Continue to seek wise counsel and early support where needed, for God often works through the knowledge He has given to others. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for his speech to flourish for the glory of God.

We were touched by your prayer for your grandson and the love you carry for him. Lifting a little one before the Lord for his speech is a beautiful way to care for him, and we join you in asking for patience and guidance for your whole family as you support him.

Children's development tends to happen in a sequence across areas like movement, language and social skills, and every child moves through those steps at a slightly different pace. When a child meets milestones later than typically expected, that is often described as a delay, and it is also true that both the way God has made him and the nurturing around him matter. That is one reason early encouragement can make such a difference.
If he is not already being seen for this, we would gently encourage his parents, with your support, to talk with his pediatrician about his speech development and whether a screening or referral for a speech and language evaluation would be helpful, alongside prayer.

We join you in bringing your grandson before the throne of grace and we have lifted him up with you in prayer.
There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but His leaves are full of healing, able to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. He is the heavenly Physician whose work is to bind up wounds, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds.
We are reminded also that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one, flowing from the same gracious hand. And we observe that the healing power was present when Christ was teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. How noble a purpose speech is put to when it is used to hear what God the Lord will speak and to speak forth His praise.
We pray that the Lord who changes the tone of His people's speech will look upon this dear child in tender mercy. Speech is the gift of God, and we ask that in His wisdom and in His perfect timing He would loose his tongue, give clarity to his words, and grant him joy in hearing and in speaking.
We pray also for you and for all who love and care for him, that the Lord would grant you patience that waits upon Him and guidance that bows with submission to His will. He guides His people not only by outward signs but by infusing great principles within, and by leading them to avoid haste and to rest in His unerring hand. May He give you wisdom to seek the best helps, perseverance in daily encouragement, and a quiet confidence that your labor of love is not in vain.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
