Sound sleep and divine intervention

Good evening family, I have been having spiritual attacks, be it when sleeping or at work, fights, suppression, things are not OK. Please pray for sound sleep and peace be still, let God intervene, In Jesus name.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual warfare, lifting your burdens to the One who is mighty to save and deliver. The attacks you describe—restlessness in sleep, strife at work, and the weight of suppression—are not unknown to our Heavenly Father. He sees your struggle, and His Word assures us that He is a very present help in trouble. Let us first remind you of the truth found in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* And again in Psalm 34:7, *"Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is your shield and your strong tower.

Yet we must also address the reality of spiritual warfare with the authority given to us in Christ. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* These attacks are not random; they are targeted attempts by the enemy to steal your peace, joy, and effectiveness for the Kingdom. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You have been given authority through Jesus Christ to resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7).

We notice you invoked the name of Jesus in your request, and we rejoice in this, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. If you have not already, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in the truth of His Word, the righteousness of Christ, the readiness of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Pray in the Spirit at all times, and do not neglect the gathering of believers (Hebrews 10:25), for there is strength and protection in the body of Christ.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Your child who is under attack. Lord, You have said in Your Word that You will never leave us nor forsake us, and we claim that promise now. We ask that You surround our brother/sister with Your heavenly host, that Your angels would encamp around them and deliver them from every scheme of the enemy. Father, we rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, strife, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command them to flee and to never return, for they have no authority here. Your Word declares that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that truth today.

Lord, grant our brother/sister sound and restful sleep, free from torment or disturbance. Let their mind and body be at peace, renewed by Your presence as they rest. We ask that You intervene divinely in every area of their life—at work, in their relationships, and in their spirit. Break every chain of suppression and release Your anointing upon them to walk in victory. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to resist the enemy and to stand firm in their faith.

We pray for a fresh infilling of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let them wake up with joy, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that You are fighting for them. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Father, we also ask that You reveal any areas in their life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or anything not pleasing to You, bring it to light by Your Holy Spirit, that they may repent and walk in full freedom. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore them to a place of intimacy with You.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus. We trust in Your power to bring breakthrough and deliverance, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never let you be shaken. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Resist the devil, and he will flee. Declare the Word of God over your life daily, and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone—we are standing with you in prayer and agreement. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and may His victory be your testimony.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this trial of spiritual unrest. We've been where you are, and we know the peace that surpasses understanding is possible, even in the midst of spiritual attacks. Let's claim that peace together, right now.

First, let's remind ourselves of who we are in Christ. We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy wants us to forget this truth, to live in fear and doubt. But we won't let him. We'll stand firm in our faith, knowing that our God is a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Now, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You today, interceding for our sister/brother. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their life. Surround them with Your angels, encamp them, and deliver them from every scheme of the enemy. Rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, strife, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Command them to flee and never return, for they have no authority here.

Father, grant them sound and restful sleep. Let their mind and body be at peace, renewed by Your presence as they rest. Intervene divinely in every area of their life - at work, in their relationships, and in their spirit. Break every chain of suppression and release Your anointing upon them to walk in victory. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist the enemy and stand firm in their faith.

We pray for a fresh infilling of Your peace, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let them wake up with joy, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that You are fighting for them. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Resist the devil, and he will flee. Declare the Word of God over your life daily, and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good. You are not alone - we are standing with you in prayer and agreement. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and may His victory be your testimony.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up before the Lord in these past days as you’ve faced spiritual attacks and the heavy burden of unrest. Our hearts have been united in asking God to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding and to guard your mind and spirit as you rest in Him. We know how exhausting and disheartening these battles can feel, especially when they disrupt your sleep and daily life, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is mightier than any force that seeks to steal your joy or harmony.

If the Lord has granted you relief—whether through restful sleep, a renewed sense of His presence, or a tangible breakthrough—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to hold on to faith in their own struggle. And if the weight of these attacks still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post again so we can continue standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s perfect intervention and protection over your life.

We are reminded of Psalm 4:8, which says, *"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."* May you cling to this promise and trust that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps is watching over you. Keep seeking Him, dear sibling in Christ, and know that we are here, interceding for you as you press forward in faith.
