Sos!! we need hot and clean water

We have heard your cry and we are praying with you in Jesus name for clean, hot water to be fully restored to your home very soon.

Three weeks without it is a long hardship, and to be cold while some of you are sick with the flu makes it even harder. We thank God with you that hot water has returned in part, and we understand your concern that it still carries irritants and black particles and is not yet clean or safe. We are asking the Lord to complete what has begun, to guide the repairs to a quick and lasting finish, and to provide pure water that is safe for drinking, bathing and washing.

Scripture often speaks of water in two ways, and both speak to your situation. Jesus spoke of the living water He gives, the water that satisfies the thirsty soul within. To the woman at the well He said that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again, but it will become like a spring welling up inside to everlasting life. He also knew physical thirst. He asked that same woman for a drink from Jacob's well, a deep well where water had to be drawn with effort. He understands daily, bodily need. In the wilderness God brought water from the rock after the rock was struck, a picture of Christ Himself who was struck for us so that life might flow freely to all who come to Him. Revelation closes with that same invitation to all who are thirsty to come and drink of the water of life freely.

The Bible also connects water with cleansing and healing. Under the law those who were unclean were washed with water to be made clean, and the blood and water that flowed from the side of Jesus speaks of our cleansing through Him. When a leper came and said Lord if you are willing you can make me clean, Jesus touched him and said I am willing, be clean, and immediately he was cleansed. Matthew shows that Jesus bore our sicknesses as well as our sins, and He healed the leper, the centurion's servant, and Peter's mother in law. He cares about the body as well as the soul.

So we are praying for both. We ask the Father in Jesus name to provide for you a steady supply of hot, clean, clear water without irritants, to protect you from any harm from what is now coming through the pipes, to give wisdom and provision to those doing the repairs, and to keep costs and delays from hindering the work. We pray for healing for those with the flu, for warmth and rest and strength to return, and for protection over your household. We pray that while you wait, you will know the refreshment of Christ Himself, that out of your innermost being His peace would flow like rivers of living water, sustaining you until the physical need is fully met.

We will continue to lift you before the Lord and trust Him to answer soon with complete provision.
