We lift you up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon your body as you battle this sore throat and fever. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over you, trusting that God is your healer and that He will restore you to full strength. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you wait upon Him.
We also stand in agreement with you for your class, especially those students who are defiant and unwilling to listen. The Word tells us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We pray that God would soften their hearts and open their ears to receive instruction. May the Holy Spirit convict them of their behavior and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in obedience and respect. We ask for wisdom and patience for you as their teacher, that you may guide them with love and firmness, always pointing them toward Christ.
It brings us joy to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Let us continue to come boldly before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promises of healing and restoration. We ask that You would place Your hand upon our brother/sister and remove every trace of sickness from their body. Rebuke this fever and soothe their throat, Lord, that they may be made whole. We also lift up the students in their care—those who are struggling with defiance and disobedience. Break the hardness of their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Give our brother/sister the strength, wisdom, and discernment to lead them with Your love and truth. May Your will be done in all things, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
