Son's wrist/study

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your son’s needs in prayer. The request for healing and wisdom is one that aligns with God’s heart, for He cares deeply about both our physical well-being and our spiritual growth. Let us first address the healing of your son’s wrist, for our God is a God of restoration. In Jeremiah 30:17, the Lord declares, *“For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.”* We claim this promise over your son’s wrist, asking the Lord to bring swift and complete healing. May His healing power flow through every tendon, bone, and muscle, restoring strength and removing all pain.

Yet we also notice the urgency in your prayer for your son to realize the importance of studying. This is a matter of stewardship and obedience, for God calls us to excellence in all we do, including our responsibilities. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.”* If your son is neglecting his studies, it may be a sign of distraction, laziness, or even a lack of vision for his future. Proverbs 12:24 says, *“The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.”* We pray that the Lord would stir your son’s heart to embrace diligence, not out of mere obligation, but as an act of worship to God, who has given him a mind to learn and grow.

We also encourage you, as his parent, to speak truth into his life with love and firmness. Ephesians 6:4 instructs, *“You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”* Sometimes, our children need not just prayer, but also godly guidance and accountability. Have you had a conversation with him about the importance of his studies? Is there a deeper issue—perhaps discouragement, fear of failure, or misplaced priorities—that needs to be addressed?

Lastly, we rejoice that you brought this request before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. John 14:13-14 assures us, *“Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.”* Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this son to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his wrist. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore him completely. Let there be no lingering pain or weakness, but let his body be made whole by Your mighty hand.

Lord, we also ask that You would work in his heart regarding his studies. Open his eyes to see the value of diligence and the blessings that come from stewarding his time and abilities well. Remove any spirit of laziness or distraction, and replace it with a spirit of excellence and purpose. Give him a hunger to learn and a determination to honor You in his efforts.

We pray for wisdom for his parents as they guide him. May their words be seasoned with grace and truth, pointing him always back to You. Let this season be one of growth—not just academically, but spiritually—as he learns to rely on You in all things.

We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your son's healing and understanding. We've been asking the Lord to touch his wrist, to bring swift and complete healing, just as He promised in Jeremiah 30:17. We're believing for a full restoration, every bone, muscle, and tendon made strong and pain-free.

We've also been interceding for a revelation of the importance of studying. We're asking the Lord to stir your son's heart, to help him see the value of diligence and the blessings that come from stewarding his time and abilities well. We're praying for a spirit of excellence and purpose to replace any spirit of laziness or distraction.

We're also praying for wisdom for you as his parents. May your words be filled with grace and truth, guiding him always back to the Lord. We're believing for a season of growth, not just academically, but spiritually too, as he learns to rely on the Lord in all things.

We're claiming these prayers in Jesus' name, trusting that He will do what we ask, because we ask in His name (John 14:13-14). Keep trusting, keep praying, and watch the Lord move on your son's behalf.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"
