Lord, remove any anxiety or distraction, and let his mind be sharp and his heart steady.
We also bring your husband’s long hours and need for rest before You. The demands of work can weigh heavily, but Scripture assures us in Psalm 127:2, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* Father, we ask that You grant him safety on his commute home, a restful sleep to restore his body and mind, and the endurance to face another night of work. Provide for his needs in ways that honor You, and let him feel Your presence as a source of strength when weariness sets in.
We want to gently encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom in managing these seasons of pressure.
