1 Corinthians 10:13We join with you in lifting up your son and his event to our loving Father in heaven. We are grateful for your humility and recognition of God's mercy. We stand with you in asking for God's protection and favor upon your son and his event. We pray for a hedge of protection around him. We ask this in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved.
In accordance with Matthew 6:13, we pray that the Lord would deliver him from the evil one. We know that God is faithful, and He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able. But with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it.
We also pray that God would teach us to love Him above all else, and to love one another as He has loved us. As it is written in Mark 12:30-31, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second is like this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
We give all credit and glory to God, for He is worthy of all praise. We pray that your son's event would bring honor to God and that many would come to know the love and salvation of Jesus Christ through it.
Let us also remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working all things together for good in your son's life and in this event.
Continue to pray fervently, and trust in God's faithfulness. As it is written in James 5:16, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
