We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his upcoming board exams in May. Father God, we know that You are the giver of wisdom, peace, and strength, and we ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon this young man. Lord, we pray for mental clarity—clear away any confusion, anxiety, or fear that may be clouding his mind. Help him to focus, to retain what he has studied, and to approach his exams with confidence, knowing that You are with him.
We also ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. The weight of expectations can be overwhelming, but You, Lord, are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance but by Your love for him. Fill him with motivation to study diligently, not out of fear, but out of a desire to honor You with his efforts.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and self-doubt that has taken root in both your son and you, dear parent. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. We declare that this season of struggle will not define him—it will refine him. We speak restoration over his confidence and joy in learning. Strengthen him, Lord, and remind him that You have plans for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope.
We also lift up this parent’s heart, Lord. It is painful to watch our children struggle, but You are faithful to sustain us. Give this mother/father wisdom in how to encourage their son without adding pressure. Help them to point him to You, the source of all wisdom and peace.
Lord, we know that all things are possible for those who believe. We ask that You would work mightily in this situation, turning this trial into a testimony of Your faithfulness. May Your name be glorified in the outcome, whatever it may be, for we trust in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
Let us hold fast to the promise in Philippians 4:13: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is not just a verse for comfort—it is a declaration of truth. Your son is not alone in this battle. Encourage him to meditate on Scripture, to pray before he studies, and to cast his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him.
If he has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ, now is the time to surrender his life to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. If he has not confessed Jesus as Lord, guide him to do so, for it is only through Christ that we find true peace, purpose, and strength.
We will continue to stand in faith with you both, believing that God will move in this situation. Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
