We lift up your son to the Lord with hearts full of faith and intercession. It is clear that you love him deeply and desire God’s best for his life. Father, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him in every step he takes. Grant him divine wisdom to make decisions that honor You, and let Your favor rest upon him like a shield. May he walk in the confidence that comes only from knowing You are with him, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray that as he goes through this process, whatever it may be, he would feel Your presence surrounding him. Comfort him in moments of uncertainty, strengthen him when he feels weak, and remind him that he is never alone. Let him lean not on his own understanding but trust in You with all his heart, knowing that You will direct his paths.
Lord, we also ask that You protect his mind from fear, doubt, and discouragement. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may bear fruit in every area of his life—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May he grow in godly character and be a light to those around him.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, delay, or opposition that may be working against him. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn. You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Father, we also encourage him to seek You first in all things. Remind him to spend time in Your Word and in prayer, for it is in Your presence that he will find direction and strength. May he delight himself in You, and You will give him the desires of his heart.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You, and no other name by which we are saved. May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of Your purpose for him. Amen.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Let this be an encouragement to both you and your son as you continue to trust God together.
