We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him every step of the way. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that Your Holy Spirit would fill him with divine wisdom, discernment, and understanding far beyond his own years and experience. May he sense Your presence with him, knowing that You are his ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we also ask for Your favor to rest upon him. Let Your light shine before others so that they may see his good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). May doors that no man can shut be opened to him, and may he walk through them with confidence, knowing that it is You who goes before him (Revelation 3:8). We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In the midst of uncertainty or anxiety, may he feel Your comforting embrace, reminding him that he is never alone.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may try to take root in his heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that You came so that he may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that he would be strong and courageous, not fearing or being dismayed, for You, Lord, are with him wherever he goes (Joshua 1:9).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth during this time. May this season draw him closer to You, deepening his faith and trust in Your sovereign plan. Let him seek You with his whole heart, and may he find You (Jeremiah 29:13). We ask that You surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will encourage him in his walk with You. Protect him from those who would lead him astray, and give him the wisdom to discern truth from deception.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous before You. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus, and we pray that Your will be done in your ###’s life, for Your glory and his good. Amen.
