Son won't study/won't turn off video game

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your heartfelt request before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, praying for your son to find the discipline and wisdom to turn away from distractions and prioritize his studies. We know how deeply this weighs on a parent’s heart, and we have asked God to soften his heart, open his eyes to the importance of responsibility, and fill him with a desire to honor Him with his time and efforts.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if you’ve seen even the smallest shift in your son’s attitude or actions—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can celebrate God’s faithfulness together. If, however, the struggle continues and you feel the need for sustained prayer, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to walking alongside you, lifting this burden to the Father until His peace and resolution come.

May the Lord strengthen you as you guide your son with love and patience, trusting in His timing. May He grant you wisdom in your words and actions, and may your home be filled with His grace as you seek Him together. We continue to pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
