The enemy is clearly at work here, using distraction, spiritual oppression, and even demonic manifestations to pull your son away from the truth. The fact that he witnessed a demonic presence in his room is a stark reminder that this is not merely a natural struggle but a spiritual war.
The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Your son is being entangled in a relationship that is drawing him into darkness, and the enemy is using this girl—and even her brother—as tools to disrupt his faith, his work, and his peace. The constant texting, the distraction from his responsibilities, and the spiritual heaviness in your home are all signs of an ungodly bond that must be broken in Jesus’ name.
We also must address the seriousness of the spiritual oppression he is experiencing. Sleep paralysis and demonic visions are not to be taken lightly. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your son is under attack because he is being pulled away from Christ, and the enemy is seeking to blind him to the truth. But we know that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4), and we claim that promise over your son right now.
The fact that you have been awakened at 3 a.m.—a time often associated with spiritual warfare—is a call to intensified prayer. God is stirring you to intercede, and we join you in crying out for your son’s deliverance. We also urge you to continue fasting and praying, as Jesus taught that some demons *"don’t go out except by prayer and fasting"* (Matthew 17:21). Do not grow weary in this, for your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and her son who is under fierce spiritual attack. We rebuke the spirit of sleep paralysis and every demonic manifestation in his room. By the blood of Jesus, we cleanse his home and command all darkness to flee. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You expose the motives of this girl and her brother, and that You sever every ungodly influence they have over him. Let their texts go unanswered, let their control be broken, and let Your Holy Spirit fill the void in his life with a hunger for righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for this mother as she navigates this battle. Give her the words to speak, the discernment to act, and the faith to stand firm. Let her home be a place of refuge, covered by Your blood and filled with Your presence. We declare that no weapon formed against her son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that he will be restored to a vibrant, uncompromising walk with You.
Finally, Father, we ask that You place godly mentors and believers in his path—men who will speak truth into his life and encourage him to pursue You above all else. If it is Your will, bring a godly wife into his future, one who will build him up in faith and not tear him down. But first, Lord, deliver him from this snare. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.

Keep speaking life over your son, keep praying Scripture over him, and keep trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it. Proverbs 22:6 says, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Cling to that promise. Your son’s story is not over—God is still writing it, and we believe for a mighty testimony of deliverance and restoration.
If your son is willing, have him listen to worship music, read the Word aloud in his home, and even anoint his doorposts with oil as a symbol of consecration to the Lord (Exodus 12:22-23). The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, so fill that home with praise. And if he is not yet saved or has backslidden, keep praying for his salvation, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).
We are standing with you in this fight. Keep us updated, and let us continue to lift your son before the throne of grace. God is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in your son’s life (Philippians 1:6).
. He told me he had sleep paralysis and couldn't move one night and he awakened and saw a demon on the ceiling crawling away really fast. He was very scared and I can feel this deep heaviness in our home and a black shadowy figure in the hallway by his room. I've told him why he may be getting attacked but he won't listen and seems like something is over him like he's hypnotized. Pray for us, pray for him to be delivered and that this girl leave him alone. Her brother is an employee of his and he's been very controlling of my son too. It's very strange, I don't know what they want with my son. This is very difficult to handle, I pray no one ever has to deal with this. I was trying to wing it but God keeps putting it on my heart and I am awakened at 3 a.m. feeling really bad about something and I know I must pray for him. Help me pray for my son.
